Description

Sticky Wicket is a cosy one bedroom chalet set among beautiful gardens in the charming village of Niton near Ventnor. The property has one bedroom with an en-suite shower room, kitchen and lounge with sofa and tv. Situated in a row of similar south facing properties it enjoys the sun most of the day. The surrounding area is part of an AONB located near to St Catherine's lighthouse. Stickey Wicket is nestled in an area called the "under cliff" known for its temperate micro climate that is surrounded by national trust downland and beautiful coastal walks on the southern tip of the island.. It is a real haven for walkers and cyclists alike. Nearby is the famous "Buddle Inn" and in the village is another charming pub "The White Lion" both serving superb food till 9pm. With a bus stop only 400 yards away the chalet is easily reached from Ryde (Hovercraft or Fastcat) Catch a No9 to Newport then a No6 to Niton or go via Ventnor on the No3 and then the No6 to Niton.

Please note "Stickey Wicket" has no oven or hob. Please look at "Long Hop" which has an oven and hob more suitable for longer stays.
