Description

Our holiday cottage is peacefully situated just outside Stratford upon Avon, in rural village of Wilmcote. It has its own independent access. Built and furnished to the highest specification, in a contemporary style, yet retains a wealth of charm and character. The lovely Spanish style family bathroom has a bath and a separate large luxurious shower. There is a spacious and very well equipped kitchen with quality appliances including oven, ceramic hob, washing machine and dishwasher. Beautiful porcelain tiles cover the whole of the ground floor(with cosy underfloor heating) and combined with the skylights and abundant glazing, gives the cottage a lovely light and airy atmosphere.

At the rear of the cottage is the lounge/dining area with vaulted ceiling, spanned by a beautiful oak beam where you can relax on stylish, modern and high quality sofas. Here, light streams in through the large pyramid-shaped patio doors leading to your own private south-facing patio, complete with BBQ and garden furniture.

Upstairs, there is stunning mezzanine bedroom, accommodating a King sized bed with fine cotton bed linen.

There is ample off road parking available for guests.

Please note that we also have a separate bed and breakfast room with ensuite and a double bed (as shown in one of the pictures) which could be used in conjunction with our holiday let, should you wish to stay with another couple or friend. It has been furnished to the same high standard and has superb far-reaching views across open countryside. Please enquire for pricing and availability should you wish to choose this option.

Getting around

We have a train station in the village (walking distance), with direct trains going to Stratford- On-Avon, Birmingham, Leamington, Warwick and London (Marylebone). There is also a tourist bus which visits all the tourist sites in Stratford and comes out to the village to Mary Arden's House, so this can be used for getting around.

“Quiet, cosy cottage”

This quiet little cottage is a.short drive from Stratford upon Avon in the small village of Wilmcote. Friendly and very helpful and caring owners on hand. Cottage was clean, warm and comfortable with all the comforts of home. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

How do damage deposits work?

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
