“Lovely cottage for six old friends' get together”
Really well planned house, superbly equipped and very clean, with a nice feel. Some of the decor is a bit tired, which the owner/manager acknowledged, saying she would freshen it up when refurbing. … More

“Lovely place to stay with family and young children”
We had a wonderful stay at Kingfisher Cottage in April. The weather was perfect meaning we could spend plenty of time outside in the garden and braving a paddle in the steam that runs through it! Kitchen is well equipped and we found it very useful being able to use the cool box, Tupperware and picnic blanket for days out. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Beds comfy and plenty of space for spending time together. The garden was the highlight and is well kept. We visited The Toy Barn, West Bay and Sherborne Castle - all great places for kids. We paid £6.50 per adult for the castle gardens only which are beautiful and kept the children entertained for the day. Dogs welcome too. Thanks for having us Tim and Allison- we hope to see you again!

“Beautiful Cottage in a Peaceful Location”
Lovely comfortable cottage which was ideal for the 6 of us. Very well equipped and spacious social kitchen. Beds were all comfortable and the two doubles, a good size. A lovely stream at the back of the cottage which had frequent visits from one of the dogs. The location is ideal, close to the A303 so handy for Frome, Bath etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
