Description

Situated in a quiet corner of Little Eccleston, a 10 minute walk from the main village of Great Eccleston, this 4*apartment offers comfortable, modern accommodation with a pleasant lounge looking out across the garden to the small lake, as does the bedroom. A decking area is reached through the lounge fresh windows with seating arrangements. The kitchen provides good facilities with dish washer, fridge & electric cooker. There is a utility room with washing machine, dryer & freezer. The bathroom is large & provides a jacuzzi bath, walk in shower, toilet & wash basin & towelling dressing gowns, extra large bath wraps are available. The Sharps bedroom has plenty of cupboard space, television, safe & comfortable twin beds. .A safe is also available, The bedroom is fully carpeted.

The lounge/ kitchen is wooden floored with loose carpets & gas central heating plus extra heating if needed. Being cold in the winter

is not an option!! There are a selection of reading books & playing cards.

The garden is for your enjoyment with plenty of wildlife to view. Comfortable chairs for garden use are in the cupboard.

We are on a country lane & we have parking facilities close to the apartment in the drive. The apartment is on one level & has 2 steps to access.

Walking is an option & bus transport is available. It is also an area for cyclists. The most popular transport is the car & their are many interesting & varied places to visit.

On arrival, whenever possible, we like to meet & greet our guests. We will give you a detailed tour of the property & answer any questions. We are there to help make your stay as good as possible. We always provide a welcome pack of bread , milk, Pringles, butter, jam, cereals, two fresh farm eggs, tea , coffee & sugar / enough to get you started!! We do also have a ‘key safe’ facility for use when needed.; the number is given before your arrival .

Response from the owner Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding. Our daughter did not have Covid and was merely quarantining as per government travel guidelines. The lodge is a self-contained facility. Regrettably, Michael decided to leave the lodge after having been shown around. The lodge is always very busy with bookings. No other guests have complained of any such problems with the lodge or our desire to explain the facilities and the local area. We pride ourselves on seeking to ensure that guests enjoy their stay which is reflected in all other reviews. Joan & Terry
