Charming modern three storey 4 bedroom town house sleeps 8, located in quiet boars hill culdisac with children's play nearby.
Only six miles from Oxford, boars hill is one of the county's most upmarket areas, benefiting from a beautiful countryside location, there are plenty of country walking and bike riding routes available. 
A bus service operates every half hour into city centre. Bus stop is a 1 minute walk from property.

“Basic”

We stayed a week in this townhouse. It was rather disappointing that we were a family of 10 ppl and had been told towels were provided but found only 3 not very large ones were left. We had to wait until the cleaner brought some more the next day, a challenge in the extreme heat. A cot was provided for our infant-thank you. There were not many working light bulbs, and when the one in the hall entrance way blew, the landlady said she'd bring one round in the morning but we never received it. Was quite offputting that the shower and bath didn't drain well, especially the ensuite. The water did not drain for hours so you had to stand in dirty water and hours later the dirty water was still there. When we complained about it we were told that we should use it as we would normally and it will drain. But that was definitely not the case! Some messages were left unanswered. Amenities were basic. Superficially clean. No clock on the wall as in the picture. Wouldn't have been comfortable longer than a week.

“Boars Hill”

Good value for a family of eight adults 2 babies and 2 dogs. Starting to look and feel a little uncared for. Uncut grass, drawers not fully working, not enough space for all 8 to watch tv together.Thankfully weather was amazing and most of the time we were outside. Small point but matching cutlery and glassware would have been nice. Lovely Denby crockery helped. The supply of highchair and cot could improve child friendliness but we took folding equipment so not too much of a problem.

Very enjoyable stay, well located, well equipped & comfortable for 5 adults. A few little things would have made it even better, eg a proper shower door in the twin ensuite, a few lights didn't work and would have been good if the garden was useable. Overall good value for money.
