Located just outside San Casciano in Val di Pesa, between Florence and Siena, in the heart of Chianti and in one of the most beautiful regions of Tuscany, Italy.

Enjoy the large, private gardens of the property and views of Chianti vineyards off the outdoor patio. A traditional Tuscan breakfast is served every morning for our guests by your hostess, Candida Bing; a well-known Italian chef & artist.

The living room, dining room, outdoor patio and walkable gardens are available for guests to use.

BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED IN OUR RATES. Breakfast includes fresh croissants, homemade jams, coffee, juice and cakes from Candida's kitchen.

Our place has been described as a world of special magic, a place of rare beauty, with a calm and magical atmosphere, that will entangle you as soon as you step inside...the beautiful garden during the springtime will simply delight you as you enjoy homemade breakfasts on the patio!

Candida, the owner, with a degree in agriculture, hat designer, painter and landscape designer, will host you in her special world that includes more than 300 varieties of antique rose varieties and all kinds of plants. The house is furnished with pieces collected in travels all over Europe, most of them are actually on sale as that is Candida's main business, particularly the ones in the garden.

WHAT YOU CAN ADD DURING YOUR STAY:

- Candida also organizes cooking classes, using quality, fresh ingredients: our own extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, herbs and fruit grown in our garden; 70 euro per person.

- Dinners can be reserved on the outdoor patio; food prepared and served by your hostess, Candida Bing. Cost for dinners is € 35 per person, wine excluded. A wine list is available.

Getting around

There is a bus service to Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station, from San Casciano. Candida can pick you up and drop you off at the village. However, to enjoy complete freedom in getting around this region of Tuscany, a car is recommended.

Interaction with guest

I am around, as I also live at the farmhouse. I will be available at breakfast every morning to not only offer and serve the breakfast, but also for any assistance that might be requested. I will respect your space and privacy however for the rest of your stay, although I also enjoy conversing with guests!
