Description
Lavender Cottage is a pretty terraced cottage hidden away on a quiet street just up from the hustle and bustle of village life in the centre of Tideswell.
As soon as you walk through the door and see the quality of the furniture and decoration, smart kitchen, luxury bathroom and cosy wood burner you will realise this is a special place. The cottage is annually inspected by Visit Britain and has been consistently rated as four star. This is your independent assurance of high standards. We have a high percentage of returning visitors and excellent feedback from our customers.
Cottage Facilities

2 x Single beds (Can be combined into a double)
High quality linen and towels are provided
We always provide guests with a welcome pack (milk ,bread,scones/cake, bottle of wine,tea/coffee) so you relax on arrival.
Lounge Area:
As you enter through the front door you're greated by a warm and comfortable lounge area with two M&S sofas, a wood burning stove (great for those winter nights!), Flat screen TV, DVD player.
The cottage has Wi-Fi with fast speed which comes included with your booking
Kitchen and Dining room:
The cottage is equipped with a beautiful bespoke oak fitted compact kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is a utility room with small freezer, automatic washing machine and tumble drier.
Alongside the kitchen there is a lovely dining room with old oak table and settles which can comfortably seat up to 6 people.
Bedrooms:
On the upper floor there is a very attractive double bedroom containing an antique brass and iron bedstead with high quality mattress and linen, wardrobe, and other antique furniture,
There is another bedroom which can be set up as either a double or twin bed arrangement.
A travel cot can be provided upon request.
Garden and Parking:
To the rear is a sunny rear garden and a shed which would accommodate several bicycles.
Ample parking is available on the lane right outside the cottage. Please note that we take a minimum 2 night stay.

“Restful stay in beautiful, cosy and well appointed cottage.”
Cathedral of the Peak. Historic Eyam close by. Minutes walk from two pubs and well stocked shops. Beautiful surrounding countryside with plenty of walks for all levels.

Wonderful weekend in a lovely cottage. Well catered and even left toys for our 2 year old twins to play with. The welcome pack was great. Would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants home-from-home

Just to add for other potential guests, the cottage is on a hillside hence the steps up into the garden, so there is a handrail. There are also handrails on the wind around staircase inside. “Lovely cottage in the perfect village”
Lovely terraces cottaage, close to the centre of the village, great walks from the door. Three pubs close by. Cottage very tidy, clean and well equipped.
