Description
This is in a delightfully secluded setting but only 5 minutes walk away from two village pubs which serve food.
The village is situated on the edge of the Somerset Levels and Moors only a 15 minute drive from Glastonbury and Wells and a 10 minute drive to the sea,.Very flat it is ideal for cycling and walking and the beaches and bridles paths are all dog friendly.
For a romantic weekend away, we have had anniversaries and engagements,it is an ideal surprise.
Everyone who has stayed so far has loved it, even in the middle of winter!

“Idyllic cosy getaway”
Gorgeous shepherd hut in beautiful countryside location. Ideally situated for walks with dog. A couple of pubs and a village shop within short walk. Hut has pretty soft furnishings and has bathroom close by. Wood burner to cosy up to (or electric heater). Lovely quiet break, didn’t want to leave.

“Peaceful Getaway”
Arrived at the Shepherds Hut greeted by fresh milk, a supply of wood for the log burner and electric heating on ready for our arrival. Peaceful setting with a good quality bathroom a short walk down the garden, even in winter had no issues with being cold as the hut warms up quickly, hosts were pleasant and told us about the 2 main pubs in the area, where the supermarkets are etc. Would definitely recommend and hoping to return another time perhaps in summer.

“Well worth a visit”
This was a great base for exploring Somerset with close and easy access to the beaches and the M5 motorway. The shepherd's hut was a first time experience for us. We thoroughly enjoyed it although not sure it would feel the same if the weather was not so good. The garden was beautiful with plenty of space for our two dogs to run around and play. It was a wonderful break and one we will have treasured memories of.

“Brilliant weekend”
