Log Home Seclusion On 10 Acres W/ Creek and Garden, Yet Close To Everything! Next-door to Cedar Creek Stables and short drive to BAP (canopy tours). Asheville is only 30 miles away for great night-life and cultural activities. Enjoy Lake Lure's beach or golf course. Hike up to Chimney Rock Park. Shop at all the antique, craft, consignment and goodwill/flea markets in the community.

Better yet... Stay home and soak in the peace, quiet and privacy of your own creek, garden, flowers and walking paths where the trees hide you from the road. Pick wild strawberries while walking alongside the creek. Kids, dog (and you!) will love to cool off by wading in the creek. BBQ and enjoy the evenings on the 900+ sq ft of decks. Listen to the creek's 'Night-Life' and watch the fire flies LIGHT Show without spending $$.

To find out who had owned the antique Tiger Oak Master Suite, you'll need to ask!!! Have a RED BOOK on coffee table with restaurant menus, hiking trail maps and local events.

MASTER SUITE - Antique Tiger Oak (Queen) Bedroom Suite with 2 dressers-- formerly owned by re-noun NC Family (More info provided @ booking or upon your arrival!). Watch DVD movies on a 40" LCD TV before snoozing. Use the antique desk (check out the ink well!) for your computer work or play. Has multiple TV, telephone and internet hook-ups through out the room. Use Glider to read, relax & gaze out picture window!

4-in-1 GAME TABLE has foosball, pingpong, pool & air hockey!

Master WALK-IN CLOSET has everything needed to make your stay accommodating: Folding table w/ 4 chairs; TV trays, vacuum w/ filters; cards, books and board games; DVD movies and music; a roll away twin bed and extra bedding, linens and towels.

GUEST BR- Antique Oak (Queen) Bed w/ Tiger Oak dresser-- not famous but beautiful, country decor.

LOFT BR- Mission - style Full and Twin beds. Country, floral queen sofa sleeper. Antique Dresser I refinished in 4-H!

All BRs have ceiling fans and lots of storage in bi-fold closets w/ metal shelving

MASTER BA - double sinks in 6 foot vanity. Large walk-in, tiled shower w/ seat and shelves. Ornamental shelving to display linens and towels. Six foot bi-fold closet w/ metal shelving . Special glass block window to let the sun in.

GUEST BA - Country decor with tiled counter, country shelving, linen closet and full tub/shower combo. Hair Dryer in vanity.

LOFT BA - Full w/ walk- in shower. Full wall closet for storage and all bedding needed. Fire Extinquisher under sink. EASE of access to out door hot tub.

ALL Bathrooms have a window (blinds for privacy) and vanity lights for good lighting. All have Memory Foam bath mats. Furnished w/ toilet paper to start.

Response from the owner My first review that isn't a 5 star in the 4- 5 yrs I've done this and I'm sad that my perfect record got broken! I appreciated that you stated that the problems you had experienced wasn't typical for the cabin. We strive to have everything in tip-top shape, so the repair was done during your time there and the hot tub cleaned right after. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about Mother Nature! I learned that it was the season for ticks and even the spraying done only lasts until the first rain. Western NC also seems to have wasps in the summer months and we spray/kill them when found. I apologize that these things happened during your time there and made your family vacation less than perfect. I hope you will consider returning so that I can make it up to you. Thanks, Shirley
