Description from owner
Description
Bea's Cottage is situated a short walk from all the town's amenities, where you can find some fine Public Houses serving fine ales, wines and home cooked food, wonderful restaurants, cafes, a wine bar and typical market town shops - all well worthy of a visit.
The town has a golf course a renowned antiques market where you can find yourself wandering around for hours steeped in history. At the towns railway station you can catch a train to the medieval town of Shrewsbury or the historic market town of Ludlow both a 15 minute journey. The station is also on the mainline from Cardiff to Manchester. Church Stretton is referred to by many as "Little Switzerland" and is the only market town to be found in South Shropshire's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The cottage offers beautiful accommodation for up to 3 people (in addition to this a travel cot is also available for any little visitors up to the age of 2).
A log burner sits in the fireplace in the lounge and offers a lovely focal point on dark chillier evenings. The main bedroom has a dressing room off with a door opening to the garden, perfect for breakfast al fresco style, this room can also accommodate a travel cot if required.
Bea's Cottage offers the perfect base for a truly memorable experience. Visitors will be spoilt by the many beautiful and scenic walks to suit both the less energetic and the more experienced hill walkers. There are numerous routes for on and off road cycling too and there is a garden shed available with access to store bicycles etc if required.

“Ideal cottage for two”
Bea’s Cottage is ideal for two. Although small - bijou doesn’t go far enough - it is well appointed and brilliantly well placed in the heart of Church Stretton for eateries, pubs, festival events and the bus stop is just outside.

“Another Great Stay”
I stayed for a second time at Beas Cottage with my husband and small jack Russell terrier. The cottage is a small terrace, but had everything needed (including an outside terrace) and was very comfortable and perfect for a walking holiday. We walked from the cottage every day and enjoyed brilliant dog friendly pubs and cafes in Church Stretton. There was a lovely welcome basket, along with very welcome tea and fresh milk! We will certainly stay again.
