If you are looking to stay in a home where the mountain and lake views are spectacular from every room, you have found the perfect home at a very affordable rate!

Overlooking the beautiful mountains of Lake Lure, NC, our 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath “HideAway” will provide you with a very comfortable “home-away-from home,” as you enjoy the fresh mountain breeze from your back porch. “HideAway” can comfortably sleep 6 adults with an extra daybed and trundle, for the little ones. Enjoy watching the boats leave the marina or the skiers creating waves right above the Lake Lure Dam. Hidden just above “ground-hog hill”, everyone is sure to enjoy the sights and sounds of the abundant wildlife surrounding you. A large variety of birds, wild turkeys, chipmunks, ground hogs, deer and an occasional black bear and bobcat have been spotted in the driveway or back yard, especially at dusk.

With so many activities for all ages, there is never enough time to “see it all” so we hope you enjoy your stay, come back again soon, and start calling “HideAway” your “home-away-from-home” too!

Please note, our "Hideaway" is a very comfortable and clean renovated mobile home with a split bedroom floor plan. The photos we share of our home are exactly what you will see upon your arrival (minus the snow) :-) as shown in a few of the photos.

Also, too keep our nightly rates as low as possible, we have decided not to have internet at our home even though we do have Satellite TV for you to enjoy. We have great cell service at our home and everyone, including ourselves, just use our smart phones when needing internet access. For guests needing computer use with printers, The Mountain Branch Library is within a 2-3 minute drive from our home and have been very accommodating to our guests or you can visit the Lake Lure Visitors Center downtown Chimney Rock and use their computers too. Many downtown restaurants have WiFi access too if needed.

* * * Reserve early and save. February is always the last month to take advantage of the best rates for the following Spring and Summer. Seems like just when we are finished with one season the next season is, "just around the mountain"

WINTER RATES . . . (December - March) will be posted very soon. Reserve early as these dates fill up very quickly for weekend "get-a-ways". The landscape of Lake Lure is so very different during the Winter months. The back yard view from our home feels like you are surrounded by mountains as you can see so much more after the leaves have fallen. Watch out for the "snow reports", because Lake Lure turns into a Winter Fairyland when the mountains are dusted with snow. Just beautiful! :-)
