Description
England Shelve Farmhouse nestles on the hillside, surrounded by farmland in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with magnificent views south to the Long Mynd. The Farmhouse is accessed by its own drive and there is ample parking for 4 cars. there are thre pubs and a village shop within about one mile of this tranquil setting. Several other pubs are within a short car journey. The town of is ten minutes away, with a good delicatessen, a butcher and two small supermarkets. There are several interesting cafes and pubs, at least two of which brew their own beer. About half an hour away are both the gastronomic centre of Ludlow with its market and castle and the fascinating Coalbrookdale museums at Ironbridge. The county town of Shrewsbury with all modern facilities including theatre, multiplex cinema and many restaurants is 20 minutes’ drive. Walking, gliding, fishing, golf http://www.churchstrettongolfclub.co.uk, paragliding and pony trekking are amongst the numerous outdoor holiday activities the area is famous for. The Long Mynd, Offa’s Dyke, the Shropshire Way and the Stiperstones are all nearby. Village Store, pub/restaurant within 1¼ miles.

The Farmhouse sleeps 8 people, and has four double bedrooms.
One double bed is located downstairs with an en suite shower, WC and washbasin.
Upstairs are three double rooms. One room has a double bed, and the other two each have twin beds.
There is a large bathroom with WC, wash basin and a bath, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
Bookings normally commence on a Friday, but there is flexabilty, either for weekly or weekend or weekday lets. Towels are included, bed linen is available at £4 per person. Fuel supplement is £30 (April to September) and £40 (October to March).
Weekend Breaks are also availabe on application.

We intend to close the Farmhouse for a major refurbishment early next year, but we are be open until mid January and inten£ reopening by mid to end of March. We will have four en suite bedrooms a large sitting room, and the kitchen will ha e French windows leading onto your garden where there will be a barbecue.
