Welcome to Rose's Rest at Greetham Retreat, this luxury 4 star Gold Award self catering accommodation is both stylish and comfortable. This intimate and cosy ground floor 1 bedroom cottage is ideal for couples or solo travellers alike. Rose's Rest is a really lovely holiday cottage offering well designed compact accommodation with open plan living areas enhanced with high vaulted ceilings and original wood beams throughout which are also an orginal feature.

Sitting room/kitchen/breakfast bar dining area, bedroom with king size (5ft wide) double bed. The luxury en-suite shower room also has a WC and wash hand basin. A cot is available for babies and high chair can be provided free of charge (please request when booking). This particular cottage is also suiatble for 1 small wel behaved dog .

We opened our self catering cottages at Greetham Retreat following a full modernisation and conversion program of an unloved and derelict agricultural crew yard barn. Located in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds which has a wide selection of walks through open farmland and countryside just on the doorstep. Greetham Retreat is perfectly situated between historical Lincoln City and the endless wide sandy beaches along Lincolnshire's accessible and dog friendly coastline, there is just so much to do nearby.

A warm welcome is guaranteed and our luxury cottages will suit both families/groups and couples alike. Our self catering accommodation is nestled in over 4 acres of private natural grounds with wildlife ponds, wild flower meadows, woodland areas with mown grass paths throughout. Wi-Fi is available free of charge for all guests during your stay. Greetham Retreat is positioned in open countryside with magnificent views but is only 3 miles from the market town of Horncastle, making it just perfect for that relaxing holiday getaway. Plenty of dog friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs locally too.We can offer weekly holidays and short breaks all year. Our short breaks are for 3 or 4 nights.

We have five cottages at Greetham Retreat they sleep from 2, 4 & 6 people each and are all slightly different but are of the same high quality. We are sure that you will find one that suits your needs. They all benefit from individual attributes and are very stylish being graded by Visit Britain as 4 star quality and have also gained the prestigious Gold award for self catering accommodation.

Getting around

Most guests use there own transport car to visit the locality. The Lincolnshire Wolds is also popular with those who enjoy cycling. However, there is also a bus service that can pick you up at the front gate and take you to either Horncastle or Louth and return (the 6C interconnect bus). Both of these town are terminus towns if further travel is required.

Interaction with guest

The owners Rob and Jeanette Folwell, live about 100 meters from the self catering holiday accommodation. They will personally meet and greet you on your arrival, to hand over keys, show you how everything works in the cottage and will signpost you to local attractions and eateries etc they always try to tailor there recommendations to meet your individual needs and expectations. As the owners live nearby they are always available and on hand if there are any issues or other queries.
