Description

Casa Tacconi is located at the second floor (no elevator) of a 13th century building in a small, quiet street, just seconds away from the most beautiful street of the historical centre, and less than 5 minutes walking distance from Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi and most other museums, churches, palaces and monuments.

Sleeps 6, the apartment consists of three double rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a large living room. Bed linens and towels are provided.

The apartment is fully furnished with restored antiquarian furniture, art, and paints. The kitchen is fully equipped.

All the rooms have mosquito nets at the windows and fans for the summer nights. Air conditioning is provided in all the bedrooms and in the living room.

A welcome pack is provided for the guests, which contains some coffee, tea, and other small useful things for a comfortable start to your stay.

****Sanitation and hygiene for COVID-19****

Your health and safety are among our top priorities both at your arrival and during your stay.

We keep at least half a day between two occupancies to deep clean and sanitize the apartment.

Before your check-in, we thoroughly clean the apartment including all items and surfaces touched by the previous guests. We use only WHO-approved disinfectants (chlorine compounds, certified products by Perfectpur and Amway) and we sanitize the entire apartment by means Ozoniser and strong UV lamps.

The household linen (bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and kitchen linen) is washed with a specific Amway detergent, and finally the entire apartment is sprayed with an antibacterial/antiviral solution of Perfectpur Handdesinfektion plus.

We will provide you with special disinfectant detergent for hands, which you can use for your own personal safety in the bathrooms and in the kitchen.

Please read carefully the local government indication, which may apply during your stay. Utilize masks and keep the recommended distances. Always try to book restaurant and museum in advance.

Getting around

Walking around Florence is the best way to get around, especially in the historic center, where the apartment is nestled, but fortunately our apartment is located just 300 metres away from a very popular taxi stand, and less than a 10 minute walk from Florence Railway station - Santa Maria Novella. The airport is 6 km away and can be reached by taxi or tramvia - the Florence tram service which stops at Santa Maria Novella. We suggest to make use of the Mobike Bike Sharing in Florence to get around in an easy and cheap way.
