Beautifully and sympathetically built, the modern detached single storey barn, The Barn, offers light and airy, contemporary accommodation. The Barn sits in the secure grounds of Daubeneys Farmhouse, the only longhouse in Wiltshire and dating back to the 13th century is the oldest house in the village and of great historical interest.

The accommodation offers a double and a twin bedroom, an open plan sitting room and kitchen with underfloor heating, superfast WIFI, a large Smart TV, smart speaker and wood burning stove. There is your own deck and garden with tables and chairs for outside dining. The bathroom offers and bath with overhead shower.

This wonderful holiday property lies in the peaceful conservation village of Colerne in Wiltshire. As part of the Cotswolds, we surrounded by stunning rolling countryside, a walkers paradise, yet only 6 miles from Bath. Within easy distance of amazing places such as Castle Combe, Lacock and Biddestone, some of England's most beautiful villages, Dyrham Park, Bradford on Avon and Badminton for the Horse Trials.

For days out, Bristol, Westonbirt Arboretum, Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, Glastonbury, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge, Tetbury and many more, are all within an easy hours drive.

The Barn is a lovely relaxing place to return to after exploring the many attractions in the area.

A well-behaved dog is welcome. An additional cost of £20 per dog per stay, paid on arrival.

We can arrange wheelchair access via a ramp if needed. The property is all on one level.

“Fab Accommodation and lovely location”

We are so happy that The Barn provided everything you needed for your visit to Badminton Horse Trials. Thank you for your comment regarding the Barn garden. Despite the Barns private garden not having fencing leading into the bigger garden, once the front gate is shut, the garden is fully enclosed so pets can't wander out. That said, should you ever return, or other guests need it, we would be happy to put up some temporary fencing to enclose the Barns smaller, private garden. We had a fantastic week at the barn! A really beautiful holiday let, spotlessly clean on our arrival and owners Jim and Louise were very welcoming. Great for kids, ours loved the garden and it felt very safe for them. Colerne is a lovely little village with a great little park for the kids in the evening. We would definitely stay again!
