We intend to ensure that the park remains tranquil and relaxing so you can truly take full advantage of your luxury holiday lodge in royal Berkshire. You can even meet the local wildlife, with California chalet and touring park having its own family of friendly ducks who regularly patrol the retreat. You might even spot the odd squirrel or moorhen.
Things to do in the Area
For those who are more adventurous there is plenty to do and see with the locally renowned Windsor castle and Henley on Thames. The nearby market town of Wokingham offers a fantastic array of market stalls and fantastic restaurants and pubs with great history also ascot renown for royal ascot racecourse

“Beautiful and tranquil place”
We are back from a week away which included 3 days in California caravan and touring park. We absolutely loved it! It was so beautiful and tranquil! The park is very well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoy the local walks, the local play park, (the local paddling pool was closed due to covid however we will be back for it!) and we loved feeding the resident ducks in the morning. We have two boys and they made friends and played about the park. We fell totally safe and loved seeing them enjoy the outdoors. Locally there is a shop / chemist / petrol station with 5 min drive It is 30 minutes away from windsor, 20 min from Legoland If you have kids i would highly recommend Wellington Country Park! Full of great activities for the kids! Couldnt fault anything apart from maybe some outdoor sitting would be nice but we will bring next time! Loved it! The boys were disappointed to leave and keep asking us when we go back! Speaks words!

“Perfect Christmas family getaway”
Couldn’t fault anything about this place. When we arrived we were shown to our 3 bedroom lodge and what a pleasant surprise it was. It was warm, cosy and immaculate. We were greeted with a decorated Christmas tree, a bottle of wine and a box of mince pies which we thought was a really lovely touch. Apart from bringing your own towels, there is very little else as everything is well catered for. We went for plenty of walks around the beautiful lake and forest and took a couple of trips into Windsor which is a short drive away. Having good weather over Christmas definitely made a difference but we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it definitely exceeded all our expectations.
