Welcome to The Victorian Barn Countryside Estate, your family friendly getaway set in the stunning surroundings of rural Dorset.
Set in 65 acres of picturesque countryside, our accommodation boasts beautiful barn conversions, cottages and lodges nestled in the heart of the scenic Thomas Hardy country.
The Victorian Barn Countryside Estates spacious self-catering accommodation is perfect for any occasion, from mini-breaks, to family holidays, we can help make your occasion one to remember!
With the historic Jurassic Coast just 20 miles away and lots of lovely local pubs and restaurants close by there is plenty to explore when you book your stay at The Victorian Barn Countryside Estate Dorset.
We welcome bookings of all shapes and sizes. With wonderful outside space, and superb leisure facilities, your stay promises to be as fun-filled, or relaxed as you desire. With a heated indoor pool & sauna, private hot tubs, games room, activity suite, fishing lakes and an outdoor play area for the kids, we have something for everyone during your stay. We also have ample free parking, an EV charger and unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi for those who want to be connected.
Situated within The Victorian Barn itself, Victoria Albert is our largest property and offers a flexible space to host large groups.
A spacious barn conversion originally a Victorian cattle barn built in 1849 and sympathetically converted in 2009 retaining many period features, Victoria Albert comprises of five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
First Floor
One ensuite king bedroom (two guests) with large window, amazing views and blackout curtains. Space for a cot.
One king bedroom with whirlpool bathroom (two guests) with Velux window and blackout blinds. Space for a cot.
Two ensuite double + single bedded rooms (three guests in each bedroom) with quirky sloping ceilings, Velux windows and blackout blinds.
One ensuite family bedroom with king bed, two single beds & an optional double sofa bed (six guests) with floor to ceiling windows, blackout curtains and panoramic views plus a juliette balcony. Space for a cot.
Kitchenette/ utility area with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Four ensuite high pressure shower rooms with heated towel rails, wash hand basins & WCs.
One whirlpool bathroom (opposite the king bedroom) with heated towel rail, curved whirlpool bath with shower attachment, bidet, wash hand basin & WC.
Our bedrooms boast comfortable memory foam mattresses with plush pillows and duvets (non feather), compact TVs, fitted wardrobes, dressing tables, bedside tables & full length mirrors.
Ground Floor
Fully equipped kitchen with Range Cooker and ceramic hob, tall freezer, two under counter fridges and dishwasher.
Immense lounge/ living area with bespoke bar area, bar stools, comfy leather sofas, bucket style arm chairs, coffees tables and wall mounted 75" SMART TV.
Spacious dining room with two farmhouse dining tables in a banquet style, separate serving table and modern leather dining chairs for 16 guests. This rooms also has two leather sofas, centre coffee table and wall mounted TV for post dining relaxation. There are also floor to ceiling windows, blackout curtains and two entry/exit doors for guests convenience.
One high pressure shower room with heated towel rail, wash hand basin & WC.
Underfloor heating throughout.
Outdoor Area
Victoria Albert features a large patio area which surrounds the property plus picnic furniture, perfect for dining alfresco!
Plus there is a dedicated hot tub nearby and open plan lush green lawn for outdoor fun and play or to just breath in the fresh countryside air and to relax upon.
