Description
A lovely lounge with comfortable suite glowing log burning stove, Internet access(Wifi),satellite TV and DVD. A super dining kitchen with quality units, table and chairs, cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. A utility room with sink and automatic washer. A delightful double bedroom under the eaves with breath - taking views across the valley. An en-suite shower room with shower and W.C. A super twin bedroom of matching quality. A beautifully tiled modern bathroom with bath/shower over and W.C. Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, power and an initial supply of fuel for the stove are included. There is an attractive little front patio garden and rear stone flagged courtyard both with furniture. Dedicated parking for one car is available close to the cottage together with other spaces on the quiet road adjacent. There is secure storage for bikes. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult.
Due to the size and layout of the property we can only accept one well behaved dog.
We off early short breaks in low season months or as last minute bargains in unbooked weeks.

“Longstone view cottage”
Very convenient place to stay for bake well etc,unfortunately the cottage is in need of a deep clean.

“Great place to stay”
Comfortable house with everything you could need. Quiet location though close to town centre (with moderately challenging walk back!). Richard was very helpful and responded quickly when contacted.

“Very well presented cottage which has absolutely everything needed for a week's stay.”
Lovely cottage in a stunning location just minutes from Bakewell town centre. Great communication from Richard ( Owner ) before our holiday meant we knew exactly what to expect. The area has stunning views with plenty of places to visit and would like to return one day.

I am disappointed that your break was spoiled by the patio furniture as this is something that we could have rectified straight away had you brought it to our attention whilst you were at the cottage.The winter had certainly taken its toll on the outside seating and unfortunately we had not noticed.This has now been rectified Apologies once again and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

“great quiet spot in busy bakewell”
location excellent 5 min into town good workout coming back! Loved the little balcony behind kitchen, great place to stand and enjoy a hot drink and view in the morning. Automatic night lights very thoughtful for stairs at night.Enjoyed our stay very much Richard the owner very helpful.

“Cosy cottage”
We had a very pleasant stay in lovely Longstone View cottage. Really enjoyed the fire place after long walks in the surrounding Peaks. All of us slept well in the comfy beds.

“Excellent Cottage and everything you need.”
Had a great week in Derbyshire and this cottage was all we needed. Two good bedrooms [one ensuite], cosy lounge with wood burning stove, compact but very usable kitchen with a good washing machine in the basement. Could walk into Bakewell in less than ten minutes - lots of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops and the beautiful river Wye flowing through the middle. Easily recommend this place to anyone.
