“A warm and cozy haven, close to all Seward has to offer.”
Mary Ann has created a wonderful place to stay in Seward. The room is cozy with all the amenities needed. A mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and set table, all in the room. The healthy breakfasts were there in the fridge waiting for when you choose to eat. She also provided popcorn (my husband's favorite). Mary Ann was very helpful and we loved talking with her while playing with Clementine.
Response from the owner Thank you! It was a pleasure having you stay and hope you will visit again!
I stayed at Mary ann's B&B; during the summer of 2011 while visiting Seward for a couple of days. every aspect of the stay was fabulous...from the magnificent view of the mountains and bay to the amazing breakfast. The room was cozy and comfortable and conveniently located. Thanks again, Mary ann!
Response from the owner Thank you! It was wonderful to have you stay. I really enjoyed it! Hope you can come back again sometime!
“Charming, delightful hostess entertains and comforts weary trave”
When my best friend came to visit me, I knew I had to do something special for her. She had taken me to Broadway, and I wanted to give her a memorable experience. I knew arctic Paradise B and B would be perfect! We stayed there. We had wonderful quiche breakfasts, yogurt with berry dressing. Mary ann picked the berries herself. After dinner, we drank berry licquer from raspberries and blue berries she picked herself! Yum! Mary ann was a delightful hostess! We went out kayaking and saw a humpback whale within several yards of our kayak! My guest immediately sent photos to her family afterwords and called to tell them about it! Yesss!!!
Response from the owner Thanks so much, it was great having you both stay. I really enjoyed the time we spent together:) So glad you got to see whales!
“Look forward to returning some day!”
We loved Mary ann and our stay with her at arctic Paradise B&B.; The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with baked oatmeal and parfaits with fresh picked berries served in her beautiful stained glass dishes. Mary ann was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. She was a wealth of information on wildlife viewing and set us up on some absolutely breathtaking hikes. She always went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy and even mailed back a personal item that we had mistakedly left in the room. Seward was gorgeous in august and there really is no other place like it on earth. Highly recommended!
Response from the owner Thank you so much!
“A little slice of heaven...”
I love the arctic Paradise B&B; in Seward and stay there on every trip. Maryann is a great hostess. Abundant healthy food options, great coffee and a warm, cozy bed are a certainty. Many times we have stayed up late into the night playing music on her impressive collection of world percussion instruments and sharing stories, laughter and a bottle of wine. I almost never leave without a new favorite pair of spiral and blown glass earrings made by the wildly artistic Mary ann. Seward is a jewel of a community with a great harbor, breathtaking views of mountainscapes/seascapes to sketch, paint or photograph, great restaurants, hikes and outdoor options, a charming downtown, and one of the prettiest drives in the world from my hometown of anchorage. Highly recommended!
Response from the owner Thanks so much, looking forward to your next visit!
