Description from manager
Description
Rose Cottage is a 250 year old Grade II listed building with many original features still intact. The double room is in a private part of the house with a luxurious bathroom, including walk-in shower and claw foot bathtub. A private garden room with sofa, TV, WiFi, and access to the patio are included. We are B&B only with no self-catering.
With the flag stone floors and open wood burner it is homely and welcoming. In the summer it catches the sun all day long. The cottage is one of the oldest in the village and has a unique energy. Its calming, relaxing atmosphere makes it a popular “retreat” from the stresses of everyday life.
A mile from the medieval town of Tetbury is the village of Shipton Moyne. Tucked away down a long country lane, the village is virtually unspoiled, with a Church and a country pub. Whether you are a serious walker or prefer a stroll through the Arboretum, both are on the doorstep.
