Awarded top vacation rental by FlipKey/TripAdvisor. Completely renovated, 1 bedroom/1bathroom apartment. Spacious, quiet, comfortable and safe. Pleasant cross breeze due to layout. Spectacular view of the San Juan harbor with El Yunque in the background.
Located at La Puntilla, it is just steps away from the "Paseo de La Princesa" promenade, the Governor's mansion and all other monuments and historical points of interest in the old city. The apartment is within walking distance of all restaurants, bars, boutiques, grocery stores, etc. in Old San Juan. The closest beach is Balneario El Escambron which is accessible by foot, bus or car.
Situated on the same street as the Coast Guard, the apartment complex is constantly monitored by local and federal police. The apartment building is right in front of el Museo del Arsenal (see pictures).
Conveniently located near the bus terminal, a secure municipal public parking lot, and a ferry that will take you across the San Juan bay to Cataño where you can visit the Bacardi Rum Factory.
THE APARTMENT IS ON THE FOURTH FLOOR. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR.
The bedroom has air conditioning. It also has a beautiful view of Old San Juan colonial buildings.
Please note, there is only AC in the bedroom. There is no need for AC in the living room/kitchen due to the cross breeze.
The apartment has two balconies.
The futon couch folds out into a full size bed. Inflatable mattresses and extra bedding also available on demand.
The apartment is also equipped with a portable floor fan, an iron and ironing board.
The rates listed on FlipKey are for parties of 2. We charge an additional $25/night for each additional person.
The nightly rate will increase to $200/night during Carnival/Las Fiestas de San Sebastian (usually the third weekend of January: Thurs-Sun) and the Security Deposit will be $200.
We charge a $30 late check-in fee for all arrivals between 6pm-10am, as well as arrivals on all major holidays. The $30 check-in fee is also charged when a guest's anticipated arrival time is delayed by more than one hour.

*We are a small father/daughter family operated business. We love our apartment in Old San Juan and we are happy to share it with guests who are respectful of our property and house rules. We cannot be held responsible for local/municipal water and electrical outages and we are not equipped with power generators. Although infrequent, it is important for our guests to know that these outages can occur. We encourage all travelers visiting Puerto Rico to do their research regarding the history of Puerto Rico, its relationship to the U.S. and current events in Puerto Rico concerning public infrastructure and services.
