The Garden Studio is a self catering studio rental situated on the edge of the beautiful Georgian stone town of Stamford, voted The Best Place to Live by The Sunday Times 2013 and mentioned again in 2017. Close to the Rutland border, the accommodation has easy access to the delights of the area.Situated at the bottom of a quiet cul-de-sac, the Garden Studio is built with a striking mix of contemporary and Art deco features, this accommodation has all the style and comfort required for a short break or a leisurely holiday. The Studio has been designed and built to a high standard, with many unique features and fittings, such as statement radiators and Art Deco lighting. Every effort has been made to ensure that our guests find the Studio a comfortable ‘home away from home’, perfect for self catering holidays. Step inside to find all the necessities needed to make your visit relaxing and pleasurable. Please note the open plan aspect makes the Studio a perfect space for two or three people. Due to the lack of dividing walls and open stair access, it is not suitable for families with very small children or groups of people that need strict privacy. The Studio benefits include access to a delightful private patio garden.The Studio is a non smoking and pet free environment.

Getting around

The accommodation is a 2 kilometre walk from the town centre. A bus route is on an adjacent street to the Studio with the service running approximately every hour. Most guests enjoy a walk into town and take a taxi back, prices from around £5. Taxis located on Broad St/Red Lion Sq. Walking directions/bus timetable/taxi info available in the Studio for guests. A car is recommended for those that wish to go further afield, the area has many historic villages and unique sites of interest.

We want our guests to have an enjoyable stay and where possible like to greet them on arrival but will leave the key in the safe for their convenience. Generally we are on site if our guests need assistance and are happy for them to contact us at any time.

We would highly recommend this studio apartment. It was ideal. Very clean with everything provided that we needed. A good location too midway between Stamford (gorgeous!) and Rutland Water (wonderful for bird-watching). Thank you Sylvia!

This is beautiful accommodation on the outskirts of Stamford.It is immaculately clean and furnished tastefully with quality apparent. We loved the little garden which is so well maintained and lovely to sit in.We sadly only stayed 2 nights but the welcome pack we received was so generous. You won't be disappointed.

The studio accomodation was really nice, it is tastefully decorated with everything you could need for a short break. It is conveniently located for various trips (I can particularly recommend visits to Burghley House & the King Richard III visitor centre in Leicester. The property owner was friendly and helpful. This is a really well fitted out studio which was ideal for the three of us to enjoy a short break in this lovely part of the country. Everything has been thought of in the studio to make a really comfortable place to stay. There are lots of extras which are provided including a welcome pack of food, quality toiletaries and all the kitchen equipment you will need. The property was spotlessly clean and the bedding and towels were of great quality. The booking process is excellent and the owner gave great communication throughout. This is highly recommended
