Description
The Stick House Cottage has been formed in the centre section of a rebuilt medieval barn retaining the charm of a vaulted ceiling with the original Roof Trusses exposed as a feature.
This non smoking accommodation comprises a gallery bedroom with a king-size bed, and a compact en-suite bathroom, creating an ideal 1st floor family bedroom looking out through original medieval roof beams over a glazed balcony screen to the open plan living area below.
The ground floor accommodation offers a double bed in a private bedroom, an adjoining shower room and WC, and an open plan lounge diner with an adjoining fully fitted gallery kitchen. The full size whisper quiet Fagor dishwasher and quality Bosch combination washer dryer, electric oven, gas hob fridge freezer and microwave - offers everything a family on holiday might need!
Underfloor central heating and a living flame feature electric fire with a 40" Sony LCD Internet TV against the open gable wall and 2 deep backed leather sofa's seating 5/6 in the lounge area with dining facilities to seat up to 6 enhances this comfortable unit providing self catering accommodation in Somerset at its best.
Hard wired internet access and an Internet TV in the cottage and WiFi in the communal gardens with Adirondack garden furniture provided.
Parking for 2 cars is immediately adjacent to the Cottage.
PLease Note: the small double bed settee in the family room is intended for children and would not be suitable for use by adults. We are able to supply single fold-a-beds in the cottage also at an additional cost.

“The Stick House”
We had a lovely relaxing stay in Galstonbury. Comfortable cottage and great views of the Tor. Edd the owner is a very helpful chap. Selfcatering cottage was nice and clean and well laid out with all the amenities you need for a nice break away. We will definitely return for another stay in the future. Thanks.

“Comfortable, well-equipped characterful property in a great location”
Comfortable beds and sofas, a very well equipped kitchen, in a great location at the foot of the Tor. Would happily book again for a return trip.

“Wonderful cottage in superb location”
Really can't recommend this highly enough. Superb cottage nestled at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, 2-3 minutes drive from the town. My wife, 4 teenage children and I stayed for 4 nights: there was plenty of room for us all. A great base to use from which to go off exploring the area.
