Snake Path Bridleway to Kinder Scout at your doorstep! Beautiful, immaculate little cottage recently converted in a contemporary style. Lovely double room with ensuite bathroom with shower. Gorgeous views across the valley to Chinley Churn. Comfortable kitchen come sitting area (two arm chairs). Perfect for two sharing, very cosy and relaxed. Folding leaf table with chairs can be used for meals and map exploring! 5 minutes walk from a village full of life and character; great places to eat out - pubs, cafes plus a village store, newsagents, butchers and post office. Suit walkers, site seeing, fell runners, bikers (secure storage facilities available, bikes left unattended at your own risk) or those who just want to escape. The cottage has everything you need, very peaceful and quiet with an enclosed patio. Own off street parking space at front door. Enjoy the outdoors within easy reach of Chatsworth/Lyme Park/Buxton/Edale and Manchester. Your pet is very welcome (only 1 small/medium sized dog per booking) - Please note that pets should not be left alone in the property.

“Lovely Cottage”

Just back from a 2 night stay at Craigmore Cottage. A lovely little place ample space for me , my wife and our dog and well equipped for a short break. Great location to the village shops and local walks , Will definitely be booking this again .

We’ve Just stayed at Craigmore cottage for the second time and had a lovely break. The cottage is clean and cosy and is equipped with everything you might need. It’s in a great location, close to pubs, restaurants and some great walks. Hosts are lovely and friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Stayed at craigmore cottage 3 nights beginning of October. Loved it - a real cosy, beautiful cottage in a perfect location for walks, food and stunning scenery. Would definitly stay again, lovely owner came when we first arrived to check everything was ok and if we needed anything she was only next door. Highly recommended!!

“Lovely little cottage!”

My partner and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at this cottage. It was absolutely brilliant. Firstly, the location is lovely, just a short walk from the centre of Hayfield Village. The cottage itself was immaculately clean on arrival and contained everything we needed for our stay. It is a small property so don't go expecting it to be spacious but we thought it added to the charm of the place. It was super cosy. Just enough space for us and our little dog. It also had its own little garden which was a nice bonus. Also, bed very comfortable! The owners are very friendly and provided us with very clear directions and useful information about the area. The cottage is a superb base for hikers and for those just wanting to 'get away from it all'. Thoroughly recommend The Sportsman pub for food. We ate there during our stay and the food was fabulous - the Maltesers cheesecake is to die for! Just one thing to bare in mind; some of the local pubs and cafés are closed on a Monday and Tuesday so worth bringing plenty of food with you. Overall,a fantastic stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
