“" Home Sweet Home. . . "”
I am pleased to provide a brief review on Borgo Pinti arnaldo rental property (the larger rental unit, Pinti 2) and it's thoughtful owner, Claudia. The entire process from start to finish was very pleasant and Claudia was very responsive and accommodating. (We had an early arrival and early departure from Florence). Claudia followed-up and followed-through during the entire process. Unfortunately, Claudia had a death in the family during the planning process which she communicated to me prior to our arrival; however, she still took the time to personally welcome me and my travel companions via cell phone. (very thoughtful and exemplifies Claudia's 'personal touch'). I reluctantly call this a 'rental unit' because the atmosphere is truly that of "Home Sweet Home." It's as if this is Claudia's only residence which she is overjoyed to share. The following items were very beneficial: 1.5 baths, Wifi, cell phone for making reservations or calling a taxi, washing machine, large eat-in-kitchen, screened windows/skylight. The property is located in a very quiet, pedestrian-friendly area which is walking distance to the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. The train station does require a cab ride. The lodging was very clean which was a huge plus for my sister and I with are sensitivity to allergens. Linens and towels were also good quality. A nice personal touch was fresh fruits in the kitchen, bottled water in the refrigerator and olive oil from Claudia's own farm! There is a nice binder with information on what to do, where to go and where to eat. Based on some of the suggestions, we decided to eat at the restaurant across the street and the owner/staff were very hospitable and the food was very good. We were not disappointed. Clearly, Claudia has the gift of hospitality and she takes great pride in her guests enjoying their accommodations and their stay in beautiful Florence. Mission accomplished! We look forward to a return visit. . . Peace & Blessings! Molte Grazie!
Response from the owner Dear Ron, thank you so much for your beautiful and detailed review. I do hope you will be back again and to meet you and your family next time. Best wishes for a wonderful 2014. Claudia

I am very pleased to provide a brief review on this home and its thoughtful owner, Claudia. The entire process from start to finish was a pleasure. There were no unexpected or unwanted surprises. A welcomed surprise was the fresh grapes, bottled water and fresh olive oil (Claudia's personal harvest). The accommodations were very generous for four adults. The property is in a very nice, quiet location with primarily pedestrian-friendly street surroundings; and yet, it certainly is within walking distance to The Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The train station does require a short cab ride. I hesitate to call this a 'rental property' because the feeling is very warm and inviting and you will indeed feel 'Welcome' which is why I chose to title my review "Home Sweet Home." It is as if this is Claudia's only residence and not a rental unit. Her God-given gift of 'Hospitality' is self-evident and she clearly takes pride and joy in sharing her property and beautiful Florence! My travel mates and I unanimously voted this our favorite rental property. We arrived in Rome, train to Florence and final stop, Venice. Claudia was able to accommodate our early check-in and check-out. Our stay in mid-September didn't require heating/air-conditioning and the fresh breeze via the screened windows was perfect! The 1.5 bathrooms is also a very nice convenience. The Wifi worked very well. There is a binder which has suggestions for where to eat and what to do. As others have commented, the restaurant located across the street was delightful! You will not be disappointed and it definitely had a certain charm to it. The staff were very personable and the food was also very good. Unfortunately, Claudia had a loved-one pass away prior to our visit and was not able to meet us personally. She communicated this via e-mail in advance. She still made time to welcome us via phone with her apologies. (So thoughtful). Our stay in Florence was memorable and we look forward to returning...
“Great apartment, Great Location”
Our family of 4 stayed here in October this year for 3 nights. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great, central location. Trattoria accadi, which is literally across the street was a great place to eat.
“Borgo Pinti - Fantastico!”
My sister and I spent five nights in Florence at the beautiful apartment Borgo Pinti. I absolutely adored this apartment. Claudia is extremely delightful, and although we did not get a chance to meet in person, she called to be sure everything was perfect. I was really please that someone was waiting at the apartment exactly when we arrived. There was also a lovely basket of fruit, coffee available, and milk and juice in the refrigerator. Really a beautiful apartment! This apartment is perfectly situated in that you are literally 10 minutes walking distance to most major sites, and if not 10, maybe 15, tops 20 if you cross the river, which you must! There are two smalls stores for milk, water, coffee on the same street, as well as an extremely wonderful restaurant literally right across the street. I will definitely stay at Borgo Pinti when I return to Florence, which is a given! Do be aware of the steps. It's on the third floor, but the steps are not really deep. After the third day I was used to it and in better shape!
“The best of Florence”
Claudia is a top notch host and leaves nothing to be desired in this rental. The apartment was unequivocally the best place we rented in Italy. Very close to all of the important sites and within walking distance of the Duomo. Very highly recommended.
We loved the apartment and our lovely hostess Claudia. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the cooking class.
“A gem of an apartment in lovely section of Florence”
This wonderful apartment (2 Bedroom, 2 bath) was perfect for a family stay in Florence. Convenient location, just about 6 minute walk from the Duomo and easy to walk to all Florence attractions. Excellent restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself is well-appointed with air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen. Claudia Morace, the owner of the property, met us upon our arrival to explain the apartment's workings and she thoughtfully left some provisions in the kitchen for us. She is a most gracious hostess and was available to answer any questions during the course of our week-long stay. We loved our stay!
“A great Tuscan experieince”
Of the three apartments we stayed in during our two week trip to Italy, Borgo Pinti was by far the best. Claudia took care of every small detail upon our arrival and greeted us as agreed upon. She even provided a huge fresh bowl of strawberries in the kitchen when we arrived. The location is ideal as well. a short walk to the Duomo and Santa Croce. Thank you Claudia for great memories.
Response from the owner Thank you so much Eric. it has been a pleasure to meeting you and your beautiful family and I hope you will be back again sometime in the future, love Claudia
“Home away from home!”
We stayed in Claudia's beautiful apartment in Florence for a week this past June. The apartment is kept impeccable and the decoration is very nice. The location was perfect and full of wonderful restaurants and markets all around. Claudia was a phone call away for anything we needed. The owner welcomed us with a beautiful basket of strawberries and some wonderful olive oil. We reallzed a lot of people stay in the apartment for a longer periods, and now we understand. It was truly a home away from home.
Response from the owner Dear maria Eugenia, thank you so much for your review. it was really a pleasure to meet you and Maria Ines. I hope to meet you again soon. Love Claudia
We recently stayed at this apartment in Florence. It is a fantastic place to come to at the end of each day. The location is perfect. It is very spacious and comfortable. Claudia is the perfect hostess. It is very quiet and in a perfect location near all of the major sites in florence. We can't wait to return, and this would be our first choice when visiting Florence in the future!
