“Clean, comfy, cosy cottage - great location.”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2020

We loved our week at Mary Meadows. It was a great base for our adventures in the lakes. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all equipment needed for self catering. The wifi wasn't working which did cause some difficulties for the younger members of the family. The owners endeavoured to fix it but this wasn't possible in the time we were there (due to delays with BT).

“Lovely stay, perfect weather.”

Reviewed 25 Sep 2016

My wife and I have had a wonderful week away in the Lake District staying in this lovely property. The property was clean and tidy and surprisingly spacious and has everything you could need for a relaxing stay, the welcome pack of wine, bread, butter, milk and orange juice was a nice touch. The location is perfect for walking especially down to Ullswater and Aira Force which is beautiful, and also ideally located to get to Keswick for shopping and all that the Lake District has to offer.
