Our property is a detached family home.
It is on one of the best leafy roads in Blackheath, London.SE3. A 2-minute walk to see the London Marathon start line, very central to London. Blackheath station is 20 minutes by train to Charing Cross (Trafalgar Square a short walk to Buckingham Palace), a short cycle through Royal Greenwich Park to Canary Wharf. Greenwich Royal Park was part of the 2013 London Olympics (Equestrian) and is also where the Royal Greenwich Observatory, National Maritime Museum and Greenwich University are located. It is 10 minutes drive into Westfield shopping centre or 20 minutes to BlueWater. In the evening to drive into London's West End Theatres takes 20 minutes. London City Airport is 25 minutes away. Blackheath is on the south side of Greenwich Park. It is very picturesque, set on the open heath with quality restaurants, cafes, art galleries, boutiques, hair salons, beauticians, bank and post office. Greenwich has an attractive daily market, boutiques, restaurants(a new Jamie Oliver restaurant is among many others). tea rooms, cinema, theatre, the famous Cutty Sark and riverboats which motor along the Thames into central London. Therefore making it a very quick 30 minutes boat ride to the Tate Modern and Southbank. The property itself has been refurbished to a very high standard. There are two large lounges each able to seat 8 people comfortably and more if necessary, one with a large flatscreen TV and the other with a real fireplace. It has a large, southwest facing, tranquil, private, secluded garden, dining table for 8 people, and a pond. The house has 4 bedrooms with three double and one with single beds, one en suite bathroom and two further family bathrooms and a separate toilet. On the ground floor, with direct access to the garden, is the open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge, fully equipped for your needs, the four bedrooms (one with an en suite bathroom), and a separate toilet and bathroom. Downstairs is a separate lounge with seating for 8 people, a pool table, flatscreen TV, a fully equipped separate washroom, and an exit into the garden. Blackheath is one of the most exclusive areas of London along with the picturesque location it has lots to offer families, including sports facilities, sports clubs, tennis courts, kite flying, cycle routes, as well as the Conservatoire in Blackheath that proudly offers a vast array of art and music courses (All ages, one day to one-year courses) as well as evening entertainment with acts from Jools Holland's band, Zumba evenings to Opera. Please google image these areas to see them for yourselves! Check out at 10 am and check-in at 4 pm.

“A great place to base your family in London”
This is a super house, in a fantastic location. We stayed for a week with our three children aged 8, 10 and 13. We decided on a house rather than a hotel and the comfortable surroundings and great garden certainly justified our choice. Very convenient for public transport, Blackheath is a lovely little town only a stones throw from canary wharf and with a great service into a number of mainline London stations. We visited the cutty sark and the royal maritime museum and ate at one of Jamie Oliver's restaurants - all very close. The house is very comfortable with an amazing feeling of seclusion given that it is in london. the picture windows and french windows out onto the garden, along with the amazing kitchen make this a very special place to stay
