Description

Spacious historic farmhouse apartment with charming original features and beams with all you could want for a relaxing break. Totally self contained and private. Excellent central Shropshire location so a huge choice of places to visit whatever your likes. Some excellent sensibly priced country pubs and restaurants are within walking distance and Shrewsbury is just 15 minutes away by car. We have just installed super fast fibre wi-fi broadband (Feb 2019) as our previous copper wire connection has at last been modernised so 17th century charm with 21st century connections for those wishing to work or remain in touch.

“Retreat”

Lovely country retreat. Full amenities there. Very clean. Comfortable. Friendly host and hostess. Nothing any trouble. Billed on website as Leighton but really a few miles along the road in Walcot. Great walks along the lanes and easy access to local places and attractions. Would recommend.

“Beautiful apartment over historic farmhouse”

Beautiful location in the countryside just down the road from the river Tern. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with many original beams. Very nicely furnished with a most comfortable bed, and well equipped kitchen. The surrounding countryside can be seen from all the windows, and the kitchen looks out onto a tree full of birds! (Bird book on the windowsill for identification purposes!) Lawrence and Ruth were contactable if needed, and very friendly and helpful. A lovely base for a Shropshire holiday, and near enough to larger roads if you would like to go further. We would definitely recommend!

How do damage deposits work?
