PLEASE NOTE WESTWOOD IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL AS A WHOLE HOUSE FROM NOVEMBER TO FEBRUARY, Westwood is a stunning Edwardian property in an idyllic hillside setting offering fantastic views over Lyme Bay across to Golden Cap and Portland.

It has been tastefully and luxuriously restored and furnished with both style and character. There are 8 contemporary en-suite bedrooms with glorious sea views enjoyed from 7 of the bedrooms and beautiful woodland trust views from the 8th bedroom. 4 of the bedrooms have super king size beds which can also be separated to make twin rooms and if required, extra Z-beds are available.

The large conservatory/dining room provides views of all aspects and the panoramic sea views from the adjoining balcony are not to be missed whether you are eating breakfast al-fresco or having early evening drinks. The conservatory/dining room comfortably seats 16 with but can seat up to 20 if required.

French doors lead from the dining room onto the balcony with further seating areas to enjoy the panoramic views or onto the terrace leading to the garden which has BBQ facilities and additional seating areas.

You can relax in our comfortable living room which has a sofas and armchairs, a Freeview 42in LED TV, DVD and WII player, an i-pod docking station with speakers along with a selection of books and games.

Our modern, state-of-the-art kitchen is fully equipped, it's approximately 20m2, has a built in double oven, a 5-ring hob, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc, pretty much everything else you could want in the kitchen and of course crockery, serving dishes and cutlery, there's also a utility room with a washing machine and 2 tumble dryers and freezers.

We are fully equipped for self catering but can connect you to outside caterers on a basis to suit you and your party if you prefer.

Parking for 8 cars is available on site and the whole house has Wi-Fi

Christmas & New Year is a very special time at Westwood so we decorate the hall and the lounge with Christmas trees and lights - all you need to do is add the pressies!!

“Fantastic property in a great location”

It is great to hear that you all felt very at home and comfortable at Westwood. Thank you for your kind compliments about the way we have decorated each room to give them all a unique feel. We are so blessed with amazing views of Lyme Regis Jurassic Coast, and where there are views there are hills ! But we have some fantastic local taxis firms that are all run by local people that are very happy to offer short runs back from town or the pubs! We even have a bus that brings you to the top of the road, so it is very easy to get back to Westwood. I wish I could book the weather, but sadly it is in the handle of the BBC weatherman! So hope if you are passing this way that I see you again, you are all so welcome and thank you for the kind and considerate way you left Westwood so tidy. Response from the owner I'm really sorry youi feel this way Zoe but I did contact you to say that the week would be too long too wait as other people were waiting, you didn't finalise your booking - so naturally I went with the people that were prepared to send a deposit immediately. I think you have been extremely unfair as that wasn't my intention to mislead you - what's the point of that? I don't know you or the guests that have booked,you would have been paying exactly the same as them so I have nothing to gain from taking their booking as opposed to yours. The house is only self cateriing in the winter and if you read my B&B reviews there is no mention of 'letting people down' after booking.
