Description
Rose Cottage has two bedrooms, one double or twin and one twin. The living room Has two sofas , a good sized dining table and six chairs. A door opens out on to the garden where you might like to enjoy a barbecue. Bring your laptop/tablet, there is Wifi available
As you would expect, there is a lively river life in Hamble. Whether you are racing yachts, walking, sightseeing or just relaxing, enjoying the many very good local eateries and watching the boats go by, Hamble has much to offer
It's great as a crew house, if you want to take part in Cowes Week, Round the Island Race or visit the Southampton Boat show. Up to six can stay, including the sofa bed.

o The kitchen is equipped with lots of useful equipment- Washer, plenty of cutlery, crockery etc
o For babies, in addition to the highchair there is a stair gate and a travel cot (weight limit 15kg)
o If you stay for two weeks a clean, a change of linen and towels will be provided for you
o For your entertainment there is an LCD Smart TV, WIFI broadband, books
o The bathroom has a good separate shower over the bath.

Parking is in the close.
The footpath outside the front door leads directly on to the 24km 'Strawberry Trail' and the long distance 'Solent Way' There is an outside tap for boot cleaning.

“Lovely holiday”
Stayed for 4 nights mid July with my husband and 7 year old boy. Lovely, well equipped home. Close to harbour and lots of lovely pubs. Close to Paultons park and Winchester science centre.

great place to base yourselves, easy to go to Southampton or Portsmouth etc. We visited Paultons Park and Hayling Island only about 30 minutes drive

Rose cottage can't be faulted. Everything we need in a perfect location. The garden is lovely and the house has everything we need. Great pubs with good food within walking distance. We had our grandchildren to stay one night and they loved it too. We would definitely come again.
