Description

The beatiful 19th century Villa origianlly was a monastery. For five generations it has belonged to the Cascino family who restored it and started to host events like weddings, painting, theatre, tango courses and cooking classes.

MINIMUM RESERVE FOR 8 PERSONS

The luxuriant garden surrounding the Villa has secular plants that give you the opportunity to eat “al fresco” and a small delighftul consacrated chapel to provide a quiet corner for private meditation. From the big garden you have a stunning views of the gentle rolling hills that lead to the ancient towers of S.Gimignano. The garden gives access to the swimming pool. Inside the Villa is very spacious and… all for your personal use! On the first floor there is a large dining room and a huge living room with sofas and a stone fireplace. The kitchen with a traditional tuscan fireplace and the old marble table used to prepared bread and pasta fresca, evokes the past! On the ground floor of the Villa, there is a large, well-equipped kitchen only for your cooking lessons!
The Villa is part of a property called Fattorìa Bacìo, that produced biological Chianti wine and biological extra virgin olive oil.
We propose to our guest many services included in the rental prices of the Villa:
Seven nights' accommodation

three cooking classes (in English): guided by a certified chef: Lisa Banchieri and Elaine Trigiani
A wine-tasting with lunch

All dinners (with wine) are included!! Some of them will be really special such as the welcoming dinner, the Thursday dinner with a fabulous menu studied for you by your chef teacher and a country dinner prepared by the owner of the Fattoria. Except the day in which you are on Florence tour.
A full day Excursion to Florence with a 3 hours walking tour with an official guide, tour of San Lorenzo food market. Dinner in Florence to taste the true Pizza Napoletana.
A full day excursion to Siena (with a walking tour with an official guide)
All transfers are included (1 in Florence, 1 in Siena, Certaldo arrival and departure day).
Certificate in culinary art (graduation certificate)
Recipes of the dishes you learned during the cooking classes course
A “Tuscany Cook” bag souvenir to go shopping in the market once back home.
