Description

'Tamworth' is a charming characterful cottage, with ancient oak beams, vaulted ceiling and warmly, welcoming. Built in the traditional Kentish style, , Tamworth was once a pigsty, but don't let that deter you! Now graded 4 Stars, after a superior conversion. it's a well equipped retreat where you can escape from it all and see as many or as few people as you wish. There are self guided farm walks to enjoy. The cottage sleeps 4 by way of a double bedroom and a twin with two full size singles (additional travel cot / high chair available). The triple aspect lounge come dining area provides a lovely place to relax and enjoys extensive views uninterrupted over the Rother Valley, with choice of sofa or armchairs, 42" Flat screen TV with Sky Free Sat, Radio, DVD player and free WiFi. The dining area, with table and seating for 4, completes the space, along with fully equipped kitchen, including gas cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer compartment, washer / dryer, iron and ironing board. The family bathroom features a bath with electric shower over, hand basin and WC. The cottage faces south west and the large private garden has views over countryside wth pretty sunsets. Peaceful fields border the cottage to the front and you can watch the sheep grazing right up to the garden fence! The extensive patio area makes a lovely outdoor dining area complete with garden table and chairs, relaxer chairs and cushions. Double glazed, central heating and generously furnished throughout, there is a parking area for two cars adjacent to the property. Bed linen is provided, along with a complimentary welcome pack on arrival. Personally supervised and a family business since 1978.

FERRIES from DOVER to the Continent are approximately a 55 min drive away. Eurotunnel TRAINS from Folkestone approx. 35 / 40 mins drive from the farm. ASHFORD INTERNATIONAL Eurostar Trains - 25 mins drive away. LONDON St.Pancras by train 37 minutes from ASHFORD INTERNATIONAL. A car is your best form of transport to use to explore, a huge wealth of attractions lie within an hours drive but most things are much closer!

As the owners of Tamworth Cottage, we also live on the farm, just a few hundred metres away, perhaps 2 minutes walk! We have been running our self catering business for over forty years so you are assured of our professional approach and personal supervision. If you have any problems during your stay, whether its a replacement light bulb, operating the telly or simply advice on the local area, places to eat, a day trip to London or anything else, we will always do our best to help you and make your holiday a memorable & happy one! We like to try and pop up and introduce ourselves early in your stay, to welcome you to the farm and make sure you are settled.

How do damage deposits work?
