Description
Seaside View holiday apartment ideally situated a stones throw from the beach. From the minute you arrive you can sit and relax. Watching the sea whatever the season, it is always transfixing, either from the comfort of the open plan kitchen, lounge, diner or from your own small patio area with table and chairs.
There is one double and one twin bedroom, on request it would be possible to make it up as two doubles.The family bathroom has a bath as well as a shower over it with an anti slip mat provided.To the rear of the apartment there is a designated parking space for one car.It is a ground floor apartment although there are 8 small steps from the drive up to it.On arrival you will find a welcome package to make you feel right at home. Which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread and spread.There is also a selection of toiletries in the bathroom. As well as a few basics in the kitchen, including foil, film, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and sandwich bags.
After your booking has been confirmed we are able to arrange reduced price Car Ferry crossings.
Once you have settled in there are lots of things to do just in the local area. There are two crazy golf courses open in the holiday seasons, summer water sports and incase the weather is wet open all year round there is an indoor play area for the children as well as plenty of 2p arcade machines to name but a few and these are all within a few hundred metres from the apartment.Away from the front you have got the Chine, Shanklin old village with its picturesque thatched roofs, the Theatre and much more.If you like walking you can have a stroll along the promenade to Sandown bay, right along to the Dinosaur museum, Browns golf course and Sandown Zoo. If you are feeling energetic you can walk back along the cliff path.You'll never get bored as then there is the whole Island to explore. There are miles of cyclepaths, footpaths and coastline. There is a good bus service running from Shanklin and the train that runs from Shanklin through to Ryde. With attractions such as Carisbrooke Castle where Charles I was imprisoned, The Needles with it's chair lift down to the coloured sands, Queen Victoria's Island home Osbourne house the list is endless.Or lie on the lovely beach watching the sea gulls fly over and relax.There is a selection of attraction leaflets for you to parooze and bus timetable.
Peak summer July and August changeover day is on a Friday.

“cosy,comfortable and clean”
A lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Mel and Bob were very welcoming and helpful. The welcome pack of groceries is very generous. The bed and furniture are really comfy after a day out on the island. From booking to arrival, Mel made sure everything went smoothly. Thank you for letting us stay. The morning views from the doorstep are worth getting up for. Watching the ships on the horizon throughout the day was very memorable.

“What a lovely week!”
I stayed in Mel's lovely apartment with my husband and 2 kids. We all felt it was one of the best places we have stayed. The location is amazing, right by the beach. We enjoyed not having the stress of having to find parking by the beach and then lug all our stuff for a day on the beach, we were able to just pop over whenever we fancied it throughout the week at anytime. In the evening we sat and listened to the waves lapping at the shore, beautifully relaxing. The apartment itself was beautifully presented, a home from home and Mel, the owner, had thought of everything as far as what you would need including a generous amount of provisions which meant we had enough to not have to go food shopping till the day after we arrived. She even put novelty pillow cases out for our kids. This was also one of the cleanest places we have stay too. Would highly recommend this place anytime, we are going back to do it all again next year, can't wait.
