Description
A two bedroom self catering apartment situated in the centre of the historic market town of Oakham.
The building was converted to an apartment in 2015 and provides accommodation on the first floor with two bedrooms accommodating four guests, a sitting room with dining and kitchen area, a bathroom with shower, large hallway, off street parking, a bike store and a terraced outside seating area.
Oakham is the county town of Rutland and is a pretty, traditional English market town, bustling with activity. Facilities include twice weekly markets, good food shops, supermarkets, clothes shops, and excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs.
Rutland Water is a mile to the east of Oakham. Set in 4200 acres of open countryside, Rutland Water is the central rural attraction in England's smallest county and offers activities for all the family. Direct cycle and footpath routes from Oakham to Rutland Water make this an ideal base from which to explore.
Rutland Water has an internationally respected reputation for sailing, fishing and bird watching. The Bird Watching Centre, Cycle Centre and Rutland Fishing Lodge are within 10 minutes drive of the apartment. In addition the reservoir has a 25 mile shoreline circular track for walking or cycling.
The historic market towns of Uppingham (6 miles) and Stamford (11 miles) are within easy reach of Oakham and worth visiting.

“Great location and very clean”
