This detached cottage is located near the village of Napton-on-the-Hill and can sleep two people.Owl Cottage is a detached cottage near the village of Napton-on-the-Hill, just four miles from Southam. The cottage sleeps two people and has one ground floor double bedroom with shower room and a first floor bathroom. Also in the cottage are an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove, as well as a mezzanine sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with patio, furniture and hot tub. Situated in the heart of Warwickshire, Owl Cottage is a lovely romantic base from which to explore this wonderful part of the country.
Amenities: Electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine in utility, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Lawned gardens to side and rear with patio, furniture and hot tub. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pubs 10 mins walk. Note: There's restricted head height into the first floor bathroom. Note: Raised, brick-built fish tank in the rear garden, children must be supervised at all times. Note: There is a £30 charge to use the EV charger at the property per week.
Region: Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it nowboasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
Town: A thriving village, mentioned in the Domesday Book, offering a 12th century church, a number of good pubs, excellent village store, Post Office, tea room and Marina with narrow boat hire. Close by, the historic town of Southam offers more amenties including a supermarket, regular farmer's market and leisure centre. Many walks can be enjoyed in the area with the Mellenium Way, Oxford Canal Walk and Grand Union Canal Walk all running close by.
