Description
Lovely 200 year old cottage on the South Downs. Exposed wooden beams. Wooden floors. Two log burning stoves. You'll need to light them if you get cold. Three double beds; two iron and one brass (very high). A lovely garden with a large timber frame undercover area for eating outdoors whilst you look over the fields around you. Fabulous views. Very cosy and snug. Parking. A true sanctuary.

“Cycle retreat!”
What an absolute gem of a find! This cottage is fantastic. Everything you could need inside, close to so many places to visit and yet a real country feel. We enjoyed cosying up in the evenings reading books in one of the snugs. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to people! The owner Miles was also brilliant. Little notes left round the place made it feel very personal and he was on hand (at the end of the phone) for any enquiries (not that we had any). We have already recommended this place to friends and family and can’t wait to go back again.
