Description

Upstairs Downstairs is a comfortable modern space with an unusual layout within a typical, traditional British home. The layout maximises space and privacy and is ideal accommodation for multi generation family groups, particularly with grandparents who can enjoy their own suite of rooms on the ground floor. Alternatively for professionals working away from home, 3 sharing can each benefit from sleeping accommodation on a separate level.

Arranged over 3 three floors with 2 bathrooms, sociable dining room and 2 sitting rooms to relax in. Upstairs Downstairs has a small but well-equipped kitchen complete with full-sized oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer.

Downstairs you’ll find an attractive bedroom, additional sitting room, wet room and additional fridge and drinks facility. As the house has two flights of stairs between floors, the lower floor accommodation would suit family members who prefer not to attempt the stairs.

The middle floor has the front entrance door and houses the kitchen, separate dining room and a light and airy bedroom. This bedroom has twin beds which can be joined to create a king-sized double (by prior request only - please state your preference when booking).

The upper floor has a spacious family bathroom, comfortable TV lounge and the third bedroom which has a small double bed (N.B. 4ft : 3/4 size)

Decorated in restful neutral tones with quality furnishings for a comfortable, home-from-home experience, Upstairs Downstairs is ideal for family holidays, business visitors or small groups of individual travelers.

Outside there’s gated parking at the rear and a free car park a few yards from the gates. The outside space is a great sun trap in the warmer months and garden furniture and a small barbecue are provided.

The local amenities offer a handy breakfast cafe just opposite, a range of independent local shops, florist, hairdressers, bakery and post office and breakfast cafe, together with a good range of takeaways, nearby supermarkets and service station.

Regular buses from just by the house, make travelling into the centre very easy or the pleasant walk along Hough Green takes around 25 minutes (1.3 miles). A taxi home will cost around £5-6.

Close to Chester Business Park and Airbus

5 Minute's walk from Westminster Park and playground.

Minimum bookings are for 7 nights although shorter bookings may possible when dates remain available 'last minute' and which can be:

Weekend Short Breaks - from Friday leaving on either Sunday or Monday morning.

Sorry but we are not prepared to accommodate Hen or Stag parties or any young single groups whatsoever. Please do not ask to stay if you are planning a wild weekend in Chester, particularly on Chester Races dates - this is not the place for your group.

Getting around

It's a pleasant walk along Hough Green to the Grosvenor Bridge and the centre of town. (25-30 mins) Local buses for the centre are every 20 minutes form just outside the house. A taxi from the centre is around £6

This is not something which I've ever supplied as it's such a personal preference with a vast range of products. I supply Carex for handwashing and showering but I don't provide the kind of 'minatures' you'll find in hotels.
