This welcoming cottage in the small Highland village of Marybank sleeps five people in three bedrooms.Cottage Fia is a stone, semi-detached cottage situated in the small village of Marybank, near Muir of Ord and Beauly. This cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of one double, one twin and one ground floor single, along with a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there's off road parking for one car, plus roadside parking beside the cottage and there's a lawned garden with furniture and barbecue. Cottage Fia is a lovely base for a family or group of friends with plenty to see and do in the area.
Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with basic Sky, WiFi, selection of books. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car, plus roadside parking beside cottage. Lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, hotel with bar 5 mins walk. River 5 mins walk.
Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: The small village of Marybank in Ross-shire has a hotel, and just two miles away is the larger village of Contin which offers a shop and church. Close by is the Muir of Ord, which boasts the Glen Ord Distillery and Visitor Centre, and the town of Beauly and the city of Inverness are within reach.
