Description

A beautiful newly refurbished two-bedroom apartment to let in sunny Sandbanks, Poole. The accommodation is in an ideal location, set just a short walk from both Poole Quay and Sandbanks beach, with local shopping and dining close at hand. For families, we are just a one minute walk from beautiful Whitecliff Park with a fantastic children’s play area.

Lilliput shops are very convenient – offering an award winning patisserie, small Tesco, pharmacy, petrol station & Co-op, off licence, fish and chip shop and other amenities. There is plenty on offer for all ages nearby to see and do - come rain or shine!

The apartment is spacious and one of four in a period conversion and is on the top/first floor (no lift). There is off road parking for one vehicle, with additional free parking nearby. The apartment consists of one double bedroom, and a second bedroom that can be set up as a single or twin room. There is an open-plan lounge and dining area, bathroom with bath and separate shower and well-equipped modern kitchen. There is a TV, DVD player, DVD’s, books, games and everything you need for a relaxing stay. We welcome little people – there is a picnic bag and a bucket and spade to borrow, a Munchkin booster seat (for mealtimes) & travel cot too (no mattress or bedding supplied as per H&S). There is plenty of space in the main bedroom and comfortable space in the second bedroom for a travel cot. There is a non-slip mat in the bath and also a hairdryer for your convenience.

The apartment is ideally suited to 2-4 people. It is strictly non smoking and we do not allow pets – sorry!

Weekly bookings are Friday to Friday, check in at 3pm, checkout at 10am. Where possible we will try to accommodate weekend bookings and short mid-week breaks with a minimum of a 3 night stay.

Please note - Further to one unfavourable review in Aug 2018 communal area carpets were replaced in Spring 2019.

“Family holiday”

The location is great for Poole quay and we even walked our two children (8 and 6) from the flat down to Sandbanks beach one of the days which was a 6 mile round trip. Also central to other big attractions. We were informed of the state of the enterance hall before we arrived thankfully because it was filthy and probably a trip hazard on the bottom step with threadbare carpet. However this is due to be redecorated according to the owner but it doesn’t give a brilliant impression. This has caused us to drop to 3 out of 5 stars (sorry). Also we were provided with a laundry basket to strip our own sheets at the end of our stay which we have never had to do before in other apartments we have stayed in. Aside from this the flat is more spacious than the pictures show, pleasantly decorated and has good amenities.

We have made a real effort in our apartment in terms of decor and extra touches and details - especially for families - so are disappointed to be marked down for the current communal area, as all of our other guests have given us great testimonials.

“Very spacious apartment close to everything”

We had a lovely stay at Emma's apartment - it was very spacious and well equipped. As it was Christmas we were cooking a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed - even a salad spinner! The main living room was really big and had lovely cosy sofas. Although there were four flats in the building we weren't bothered by noise at all. I'm from Poole originally and appreciated having Whitecliff and Poole Park within walking distance. We went to the play park on Christmas Day! The view was lovely as well while we ate breakfast each morning. The little touches for the kids were excellent - our toddler loved the building blocks and we loved having plastic bowls and a highchair on hand. As others have said, there are plenty of eating and drinking options nearby. We really liked Koh Noi Thai takeaway. One observation is the master bedroom is so big it could have accommodated a bigger bed - we found the bed a little on the small side, I think it might have been a 3/4 size. Also the welcome book mentioned a welcome pack but we couldn't find it - we had plenty of food with us though so no bother!
