Description

The Apple House is a cosy holiday home for two in a converted apple store. Sympathetically restored to keep the character of the building with exposed beams, lofty ceilings and cottage windows. There is an open plan living room with kitchen, dining and seating areas. The whole house is wheelchair accessible with wide doors and has off road parking.

The Apple House is the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside. Situated on the fringes of The Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels with RSPB reserves you have fantastic walking straight from the door. Slightly further away is the beautiful City of Wells or spectacular Cheddar Gorge (both 4 miles). The seaside at Weston Super Mare and the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath or cosmopolitan Bristol are just 45 minutes drive. After a day exploring, the welcoming Westbury Inn is just across the road and is a popular eating spot

Westbury Sub Mendip has all that you would expect in an English village. The all important pub, church, village shop, post office and school and is on the bus route between Wells and Weston super Mare. The nearest railway station is at Worle with direct trains to London and Bath. Bristol International Airport is 40 mins away.

“Enjoyable area..... comfortable cottage”

“Cosy, Quirky & Lovely”

We stayed at The Apple House for 3 nights on our way rhrough to our final destination. What a lovely property. It was ideal and very clean. Would stay here again when holidaying in the West Coutry. Highly recomended. The only downside was we went for a drink opposite at The Westbury Inn, and we were charged £12.80 for a pint of cask ale, and medium measure of white wine and soda water. Needless to say, we only stayed for the one drink. (£7.10 at our local)

How do damage deposits work?

If Linda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
