Description

Woodys Retreat is a beautiful holiday home located on a tranquil and rustic Country Park in the heart of Northumberland. Beautiful interior, bright and airy home from home feel. Woodys Retreat has just received the Certificate of Excellence awarded by Trip Advisor.

A nice welcome basket is provided.

All modern luxuries have been thought of, the property boasts a pod coffee machine, SKY TV, (including sports and movies), FREE Wi-Fi, board games for adults and children, books, bed linen, towels (one large bath towel and one small hand towel per person).

We provide a complimentary unlimited WiFi package (not for downloading or streaming). The location and occupancy levels of the park does sometimes mean the Internet access can be somewhat limited but the vast majority of guests have had no issues.

On site, we have the Crazy Horse Saloon Bar & Grill. It provides a varied menu consisting of the usual bar food and restaurant food you would normally find, they also offer a takeout service too! Highly recommend their pizzas!

For kids, there is a brand new games room on the basement level of the Crazy Horse Saloon, there are pool tables, air- hockey table, darts board and smaller activities for little children.

The outdoor Play Ground over at Bockenfield has a large Pirates ship and a zip wire! It can be accessed via the footbridge by the lake. It is signposted.

Dog friendly property at no additional charge (maximum 2 unless smaller breeds - do enquire).

Due to the seasonal prices it is best to contact us for an accurate and up to date price. Please note that we operate different breaks, so for e.g. we operate a Monday or Friday check in, mid week availability is based on a Mon - Fri (4 nights - same price as a weekend), Fri - Sun or Monday and a weekly price. This website cannot accommodate the differences in breaks, so please do ask for a quote.

This is one of the most popular holiday homes on Felmoor Park. Due to seasonal prices it is best to contact us direct for a more accurate quote.

Getting around

Some of our guests who are more local to the area choose to get dropped off and spend a quiet weekend in the lodge without setting foot outside of the country park. For most though, it's a great base to explore Northumberland so a car is definitely required. There are local taxi's available, but it's advisable to book in advance. Lee Scott who also works on the park (not everyday) is also a taxi driver so dependent upon journey, you may wish to contact him to discuss any potential trips.

How do damage deposits work?

If Melanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
