WINDERMERE LODGE OVERVIEW

Forest Park Lodges are set in 11 acres of mature woodland surrounded by rolling hills and meadows in the beautiful Taw Valley, neighbouring 94 acres of Woodland Trust land. The area is known as Tarka the Otter country and there is much to see and do. Overlooking glorious countryside, WINDERMERE LODGE is a beautifully designed, built to a high standard, with 2 en suite bedrooms, a first floor balcony and a sociable open plan kitchen/dining/living area. A perfect location for walkers and ramblers, with endless footpaths to wander, yet still within easy reach of the coast, and two 18 hole golf courses within a 10 minute drive. WINDERMERE LODGE is only 1.5 miles from the nearest village providing a small shop/post office, surgery, church and two pubs.

LIVING AREAS

A serene modern space decorated in neutral tones. There is plenty of seating for 4 people with two sofas and one armchair. One of the sofas is a sofa bed, allowing more versatile sleeping arrangements. Home entertainment includes a flatscreen TV with FreeSat, DVD player, DVD/CD selection, books and board games, There are French doors leading out onto the seating/parking area. A stairgate is provided.

Young Childrens Toys and soft play mat is supplied

KITCHEN

A stylish contemporary space with an open plan dining area seating 4 people. A high chair is provided. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, double oven, hob, microwave, cafetiere, kettle, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, and all other essential utensils, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans.

Make use of the picnic cool bag and ice packs thoughtfully provided.

BEDROOMS

Both bedrooms have access to the first floor balcony as well as a wardrobe, 6 drawer chest, tall mirror, bedside lamps and hair dryers.

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with en suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single beds (2'6" x 6'6" extra long) with occasional folding bed for child

2 x Travel cots can be provided and also baby changing mat.

BATHROOMS

Bathroom 1: En suite shower room to Bedroom 1 with bath, shower over, wash basin and WC.

Bathroom 2: En suite shower room to Bedroom 2 with bath, shower over, (anti-slip bath mat) wash basin and WC.

Supplied are children's bath toys

Bath towels are provided.

OUTDOORS

Both bedrooms have balcony access with glorious views over Colebrook wood forest. A table and four chairs are perfect for morning coffee with a rural view! There are acres of wood surrounding the lodge just waiting to be explored!

There is a seating area with garden bench, table, 4 patio chairs, deck chairs and a BBQ, as well as two sunloungers for soaking up the rays on a warm summer's day. There is space to store bikes in the shed.

Parking space is available for two cars next to the house, but there are more visitor spaces on site.

Kids can happily sit on their own patio chairs x 2

Supplied are Beach tent and beach toys in the shed.
