Description from manager

Description

An affordable and peaceful stay in the heart of Somerset; a great location to explore the South-West.

Wall Eden Farm has been in the family since 1927; in 2002 we diversified from being a dairy farm to a unique farm holiday setting, offering you a mix between luxury accommodation and the great outdoors! In addition, what makes us really unique is access to our range of fun outdoor pursuits and massage therapies as well as a real taste of Somerset living. (Please note activities, massage therapies and use of the hot tub and sauna incur additional costs).

Just 10 minutes from Burnham-On-Sea and 30 minutes from Bristol, why not use us a base to explore the local area and see what Somerset really has to offer? Whilst staying at our award winning site, you will also have full access to a range of facilities available including action packed activities, a farm shop boasting locally sourced produce, pamper pod for on-site treatments and hot tub/sauna facilities. You may also want to take advantage of our fishing lake or a canoe trip down the River Brue. Why not enjoy a family get together, an adventure-weekend away or some well deserved rest and relaxation with us?

We look forward to welcoming you to our little slice of heaven.

Response from the manager Dear Guest, Many thanks for your review. We definitely advise on bringing along your wellies if staying during the winter months as the fields and walks can be muddy. We offer a range of things to do whilst staying here, such as the hot tub and sauna, massages, adventure activities, table tennis & pool, fishing and pottery painting. Plus there are lots of nearby places to visit such as Cheddar Caves, Wooky Hole, Glastonbury, Bath and Wells. We always recommend booking the adventure activities in advance to ensure we are able to facilitate, however we can often accommodate last minute activity requests where possible; unfortunately due to sickness we were unable to offer you adventure activities on the second day of your stay. We hope this hasn't' put you off future stays and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Many thanks Dave

“Rural Somerset”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2013

A great break in a super setting. 6 log cabins - very clean, spacious and with just about everything we needed. There is plenty of room between the cabins, so you don't feel you are living on top of your neighbours, but everyone there, from owners to visitors, was very helpful. There is lots to do in the area and we didn't get round to half of what we planned, but have no regrets. It was a great break and we would have no hesitation returning to Wall Eden Farm if we return to Somerset. The site is adjacent to a river. There were plenty of warnings about the potential dangers and fortunately our girls are sensible enough (at 5 and 2) not to go to close.

“Celebrate with larger family in style”

Reviewed 17 Jan 2013

What a great place to meet up and celebrate with a larger family. Mum's 70th Birthday would not have been the same if we had not stayed in the cosy, cosy Wall Eden Log cabins. Everything was perfect, the kitchens, lounges, comfy beds and two bathrooms. We booked three cabins in all, which gave us space but was close enough for us all to get together easily. Andrew, the owner was very welcolming right from the start, and made booking easy and was even there to meet us when we were late! The hot tub and sauna were well used, while some of us did archery and some pottery. We will certainly be back with or without the family.
