Description

Red Rose Cottage is a minutes walk from the High Street, yet in a secluded quiet location, a real home from home, with parking for a medium sized car and a private courtyard garden it is a perfect base for a holiday in glorious Sidmouth.

We are proud to welcome many returning guests. Red Rose is a holiday cottage that is truly a home from home, and a place that we personally road test frequently.

The style of Red Rose is classic and comfortable. A place to relax, sit back and enjoy your break. Our cottage is furnished and equipped to provide comfort, with everyday essentials and so much more.

It has books, DVDs and games to keep you entertained, and a really good WiFi connection.

The sleeping arrangements are flexible and the second bedroom has a choice between a super king or two singles and feather or hollow fibre pillows. With quality bed linen and towels included to make your break that little bit easier to enjoy.

The welcome pack is our way to get your holiday off to a good start, and we have details of places to go, suggestions about where to eat and drink and a whole collection of other ideas. We know that many people are return visitors to Sidmouth so any fresh ideas for us and our guests are always welcome.

Please note that the cottage has parking for one small / medium sized car only. The driveway is accessed up a single track public road, with limited turning space. The ability to reverse your car up the road is essential.

We are always happy to have a chat pre booking and if you need any assistance while staying with us we do have a local housekeeper, or just give us a call.

Getting around

Public transport is aplenty, and easily accessed from many points within the town. The nearest railway station is Honiton, and Exeter St Davids. Exeter also has an international airport, just twenty minutes drive away. Whilst staying at Red Rose Cottage, there is so much to see and do in the town that you wont need to drive very far - but if you do want to venture further afield Dartmoor is an easy option, as are the English Riviera towns of Torquay, Brixham and Paignton.

“Great location!”

This was our second stay at Red Rose Cottage, we love the location, just two minutes from the town centre and a couple of minutes more from the sea. An easy walk to the Manor Pavilion Theatre, the cinema, The Loft, who do a great full English breakfast and an amazing Indian restaurant. The cottage is warm, very comfortable and well equipped, we had a great holiday! Thank you.

In heart of Sidmouth near shops, pubs etc. Parking a challenge but you get used to it.Property is very comfortable with everything provided. We had a great stay with exceptional weather.

How do damage deposits work?
