Description

Brewers Cottage is a traditional Somerset long house set in grounds of 3/4 of an acre on the edge of a small rural village. The Annexe is a modern addition and allows you complete comfort, quiet and privacy with its own access and stone terrace and garden. A private entrance gives access to an entrance lobby with coat hanging space, wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities. Off the lobby is a modern wet room with shower, basin, WC, heated towel rail and lovely fluffy towels. Your bedroom has a sitting area, with TV, a large double bed with cotton sheets and pillow cases, passworded secure wifi and central heating.

Your stay is on B&B terms and includes a delicious breakfast of choice from lovely locally sourced ingredients, we can also supply delicious evening meals for you if required. The annexe does not offer any cooking facilities other than tea, coffee making.

We have a further two double rooms in the main house, one with an ensuite shower room (7203520) the other with its own bathroom (7168957. Both are listed separately. We are always happy to accommodate a group booking.

Getting around

This is great walking or cycling country, but equally there is a lot to explore by car. We are mid way between the North and South coasts and close to the Dorset and Devon borders.

“Short break”

The annex is the prefect place for a couple staying a few days or just an overnight stay, David’s breakfasts are excellent with plenty to keep us going all day, we were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble, thanks for a lovely stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
