Description

This stylish town-house apartment has recently been fully refurbished. It is 40m2 and has been beautifully arranged to take full advantage of the space and light. The apartment consists of an open plan kitchen/sitting room, a bright double bedroom and a modern bathroom. In the living room, there is a futon-sofa which unfolds to become a comfortable, full-sized double bed. A single inflatable mattress can also be provided, which takes the total number of guests accommodated up to 5.

The bus stop serving the Oxford Tube, National Express, Express London and Airline coaches is right outside our house - it is called the 'St Clements' stop. The flat is situated on the 2nd floor and, as in most traditional town-houses in the area, there is no lift. There are 34 stairs to negotiate.

Guest Access

Guests have access to a parking space and two bikes with helmets are also included (please let us know if you wish to use them during your stay). For the families with small child I could offer a cot and a stoller/buggy. For your comfort, you will also find in the apartment:

- tea, coffee, sugar.......all the kitchen contents are at your disposal

Unless you wish to meet the owners in person, you will be free to enjoy your stay from beginning to end in complete privacy.

The Neighborhood

St Clements/Cowley is a vibrant area full of restaurants serving fantastic food from all over the world - Italian, Indian, Chinese, Spanish, Jamaican, Turkish and British are just some of those that can be found a stone’s throw from the apartment. In addition, there are plenty of lovely cafés, bars and quirky shops to while away a spare moment.

The flat is located a minute’s walk from a Sainsbury's supermarket, should you wish to do any food shopping.

Getting around

The flat is very close to the centre of Oxford, just a minute from the river (where you can hire a punt in the summer) and some of Oxford’s most famous and striking colleges. After a 2 minute walk which takes you across the beautiful 18th century Magdalen Bridge, you’ll find yourself on the historic High Street. Walking is the best way to get around and explore Oxford, or you can get the full experience of life in Oxford as the residents and students do: by bike.

The Oxford tube, National Express, Express London and Airline coaches stop right outside our house – the stop is called 'St Clements'.
