Description

Originally a 15/16th century “farmer’s cottage” which still has much of the original stonework and polished oak beams, etc. shown to advantage. It also has a suntrap of a secluded, sheltered and colourful courtyard garden on the south side accessible from the stable-door.

Stable Cottage offers a delightful holiday setting/base from which a family or two couples can enjoy Chipping Campden, the Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon and Shakespeare country, etc.

Comfortable and fully centrally heated. Large farmhouse style fully equiped kitchen (gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, etc.). Lounge with sofa, armchairs, TV, etc. Sleeping accommodation comprises master en-suite (bath +shower) with king size four-poster and a double en-suite (wet-room shower) bedrooms where the original oak beams abound. Utility room with washer drier, ground floor toilet, WiFi, etc. Off road parking for 2 cars.

700 yards from Chipping Campden's High Street and its shops, restaurants and inns, etc. For those who like walking Chipping Campden is the start of the Cotswold Way. Bicycles can be hired locally or you may simply enjoy having a restful holiday in beautiful countryside.

Because we have strong following from from allergy sufferers, we have a strict NO-SMOKING and NO-PETS policy with all of our cottages.

The price shown on the system includes the Trip Adviser commission and has been set up using a minimum/cleaning cost and a daily cost to give a reasonably accurate figure for a 2-night and 7-night stay. Intermediate stays will show a considerable over estimate which Michael will change and reurn to you when he receives your request.

Please be aware that our policy is to clean the cottages and change the linen after 7 days. The System generated quotations shown for a longer stay tends be an under estimate to which we have to add the £290.00/week cleaning fee.

If you enter your required dates, etc., Michael/Cotswold Charm Holiday Cottages will come back to you with a correct figure in a quotation for you to consider.

“Stable Cottage, Chipping Campden”

We visited in early October 21. The cottage was warm, comfortable and spacious with loads of character and had everything we needed including two cosy en-suite bedrooms. If the weather had been warmer, we would have enjoyed the outside space. Michael was a helpful host and easy to contact. Great location, with an easy walk into Chipping Campden and the Cotswold Way, plus it was only a short drive to many of the popular Cotswold villages. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay at Stable Cottage again.

“Beautiful Cottage”

A delightful and spacious cottage in a perfect location. It is fully equipped with high quality fittings and two sunny gardens. A 10 minute walk takes you to the High St of lovely Chipping Campden. There are plenty of walks nearby which Michael (the helpful owner) will tell you all about. The best cottage we have ever stayed in.
