Description

So why is this property so special. ? Estuary Court is ideal as a holiday destination. It is situated in Devon on the Jurassic Coastline which is a World Heritage site. The cliff top walks are spectacular. The house looks out over the Ex Estuary, a European Conservation site, and is minutes from 2 miles of golden sandy beach; ideal for swimming, water sports, and boat trips. It is 8 miles from the cathedral city Exeter with its excellent shopping centre, and 20 miles from the stunning Dartmoor National Park with wild ponies. The town centre is in walking distance and has small shops, great pubs and restaurants together with a small cinema, swimming pool and sports centre. There is even a golf club nearby. No car is necessary for an excellent holiday - the railway station is just 10 minutes walk away.

The house is on three floors, with 4 bedrooms, so plenty of space for everyone. On the top floor is the master bedroom which has a shower room en suit. There is a second double bedroom, on the top floor and a twin bedroom, (first floor), together with a bunk room, that is ideal for children, on the ground floor. There is parking for one car at the property, and along stay car park on Camperdown Terrace nearby if required for a second car. The house is modern and warm with a large library of books, and wi-fi.

“Wonderful Week”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2023

This house is a “home” - the moment you enter you just feel it’s a very loved house. It’s SO well equipped - everything you need - and more! The location is spectacular - wonderful evening sunsets with a glass of wine on the cosy terrace - what’s not to like? Bedrooms are perfect - particularly the master on top floor! I highly recommend it! Some great restaurants, walks, boat trips - something for everyone!

“Fantastic location and a great space!”

What a great location, had no need to use the car for the 5 days we stayed at Estuary court. Exmouth as good beach and was only a 5 minute walk away (if you went the long way around). The property sui… More

“Wonderful Christmas retreat”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2022

We spent Christmas at Exmouth and this provided the perfect base. Clean, tidy and homely, it’s ideally placed for the town, marina and beach. We had a wonderful time watching the Christmas Day swimmers from the Stuart Line boat (whilst supping mulled wine and eating mince pies), enjoying Christmas Dinner (on Christmas Eve) at The Grove, walking the dog on the beach and watching the changing of the light and the myriad of boats from our balcony. The perfect Christmas made even more perfect by this house.

“A wonderful house...highly recommended!”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2022

We absolutely loved staying at this Exmouth town house. Fiona the owner was brilliant from the start & the house definitely didn't disappoint. The townhouse was clean & fully equipped with everything we needed & more! The view from the rear of the property was mindblowing...our evenings were taken up by watching the sunset from the balconys...truly magical! We have 2 children & they also loved it here...lots of hiding spaces!!! A great location for the beach as it is just minutes away from the lovely Marina...also close to the station, restaurants & shops. We have stayed in Exmouth many times but this is the best accommodation we have rented by far! We are really confused by the bad reviews on here...personally we feel that this is a really lovely property & the bad reviews should be ignored. It is a cosy home & we felt very welcome. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who just wants to sit back & unwind...worth every penny & we are hoping to book again next year. Thank you so much Fiona.

This property is in a lovely location with great views over the estuary and easy access to the beaches. Everything was provided for our comfort. However we felt the interior was a little tired and could do with a freshen up. Overall very good.

Great location next to buzzing marina and short walk to beaches and town centre. Recommend Edge Watersports (for kitesurfing/paddleboard) , Exe Voyage (rib trip) , Exe River Cafe (floating restaurant) and (most of all) cycle trip around Exe estuary trail. Housekeeper/owner was very responsive to minor queries

“Location, Location, Location....oh and fantastic House!!!”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2020

What a fantastic week we have just had at this property, where I think the descrption doesnt do it justice and the pictures are quite old with some updates since they were taken. Firstly the location, right on the coast/river exe, with fantastic views from the garden, 1st floor balcony and bedroom balcony. Waking up to that view each day was worth the money alone. You are 3 mins from a bustling little quay, with working fishing boats and ferrys a fantastic fish shop, cafes and bars and a great atmosphere. We went off on our paddle boards and kayaks oppposite the house which was very handy and we could store them in the garden. The house is also great and comfortably housed my family party of five adults. Great sized bedrooms. There is 2.5 bathrooms, but be advised there is only one power shower in the en suite with the other bathroom having a low pressure mixer which did make it a bit difficult for some guests to shower, so there was a queue for the ensuite. No real problem though. The living room has a HD tv with a great picture, and loads of DVDs to watch, not too mention books to read. The couch was a bit strange in being quite shallow, only seating 2 really and could probably do with replacing as felt quite old, but there are plenty of other chairs to use. The Kitchen was well stocked with a large area to dine together which we did three times. There is no TV in the kitchen but a huge amount of games to use should you have poorer weather, and we used our Ipad on Skygo. Wifi is good throughout the house. Car parking is for one car with a large dedicated space, with another car park being a 7 min walk away at a longstay which felt very safe, and quite reasonable at £6 a day. Neighbours are very friendly as well. Do not hesitate on this property, book it..!
