Two bedroom property with garden located in Southsea, Portsmouth 15 minutes walk from the seafront.

Really sweet cottage, modernized in recent years, situated in a conservation area. Decorated to a high standard throughout. Ideal for romantic getaways, fun-filled holidays for small families by the sea, discovering Portsmouth, Hampshire & the South coast and business trips.

Our cottage is spotlessly clean and has two bedrooms, one with large double bed and one twin - the twin has a 'zip and link' bed which can be made up into a large double. Our living/ dining room leads onto the bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need in a home away from home. Bathroom, as in many Victorian properties, is located on the ground floor. Garden has a patio area and lawn.

We are located 15 minutes from the seafront and conveniently located for lots and lots of fun activities and attractions. Also, minutes away from Albert Road with it's many restaurants.

A car is useful but not an essential. For those with a car, parking is available. For those without, there is a good local bus and train service.

Southsea, Portsmouth is a perfect location for any type of holiday and at any time of year – short city breaks, surprise Valentine’s/ anniversary getaways, Easter holidays, educational half term breaks, summer holidays by the sea, the Great South Run, Christmas and January Sales shopping. There is something for everyone. It is an ideal location for a holiday in Britain no matter what the weather or the time of year.

The cottage, as well as ideally located for visiting Portsmouth, is a perfect base for visiting the south coast and key locations further afield – central London is only 90 minutes away by train.

Getting around

Local parking - we're located on a small pedestrian street and parking is available at either end, a few meters away. There used to be no parking restrictions in the area however restrictions have been recently introduced between 16.30 and 18.30. You will not need to worry about this as we will supply you with daily Visitor Parking Permits for use during these times if you need them. Permits for one vehicle are included. Travelling By Train - the closest train station to the cottage is about 15 minutes walk and is ‘Fratton’ station. Travelling By Bus - there are four bus stops within 5 minutes walk of the cottage. Taxi use in Southsea / Portsmouth is popular and fairly economical. Ask us for local taxi company details if you need them.

We'll meet you at the cottage to give you the keys and show you around when you arrive, and we'll be on hand during your stay should you need to reach us.

“Lovely stay”

We booked very last minute and Keith and Salva were very flexible and helpful. It’s a lovely little terraced cottage a short walk from the sea with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby - we had fish and chips in the restaurant on the pier which were great! All in all a lovely short break and a good base to enjoy all that Southsea and Portsmouth have to offer.

““A gem of a place””

How do damage deposits work?
