Description
Shiskine is a self catering holiday apartment in the small and quiet crofting community of Aultgrishan, 8 miles north of Gairloch, right on the coast, with stunning views over The Minch to the Isle of Skye, The Shiant Isles, and the Isles of Harris and Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. There is access to the sandy and deserted beach just behind the house by following a sheep track down a steep but grassy slope.
The apartment will provide two of you with a little bit of luxury for your stay. There are two ensuite bedrooms, furnished with handmade rustic furniture made from reclaimed wood and including king-size beds and luxury white Egyptian cotton bedding. Each room also has a Freeview HD TV. Each ensuite is tiled, with white WC, handbasin, heated towel rail and shower.
The lounge area includes a leather sofa and armchair, a pine farmhouse table and chairs, 55" Freeview TV and DVD player (and selection of DVDs). There is also a large entrance foyer to the apartment which can be used for storage, boots etc, and has a washing machine. More details of the apartment and area can be found on our website.
Your rental includes all electricity and heating, towels and bedlinen, and a selection of complimentary toiletries.
Perfect for photographers - landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, beautiful sunsets.......all on your doorstep. Also for hiking, cycling, beach activities, boat trips, kayaking......or simply for the two of you to relax.
Scottish Natural Heritage have designated this area as one of Scotland's National Scenic Areas, and it is also a Marine Protection Area. Here you can enjoy the wildlife, the spectacular views, wide open spaces and big dark starry skies - a place to 'get away from it all'..... if it's peace and quiet you are after you can be sure to find it here. Come and relax, refresh and recharge.

“Autumn break at Shiskine”
A great place to stay, wonderful sea views,very pleasant apartment.Ideal location to relax and enjoy peaceful natural surroundings. Once on the private beach you can walk for miles with the tide out. Friendly hosts made us welcome.We can highly recommend.
